When driving mainly when you
Rear differential fluid deterioration causes a moan/vibration noise when turning left or right. Try flushing the rear diff with honda dual pump fluid and see what happens. As far as the roaring sound on deceleration this could be in the Transmision or Transfer case. I would go to your local Honda dealer and have a qualified technician go on a test drive with you. Some noises can be difficult to diagnose.

The Horn stopped blowing in my 2005 Honda Element,
it could be a blown fuse, check the fuses in the fuse box either under the hood or around the dash area,it also could be a loose wire or connection, or the horn may be faulty.....hope this helps.....cheers
When I turn the ignition
Check the starter relay, check all fuses. Check the battery cable connections to make sure they are not loose or dirty.
The "horn" in my 2005 Honda Element stopped
My 2007 had a broken part (behind the front fender on the left.) My mechanic thinks a critter got into the well, and brushed against the part and broke it. It's about $80 to repair. (Does the horn still sound when you "double-lock" the doors? If so, you might have a short in your steering column.) Mine stopped sounding altogether.
Hello - my battery died
I found that some of the factory codes are 00000, then when the customer buys the car, they can put in their own code.
Look in the owners manual that's in the glove box (if you have one) under radio, and see if it says anything about the code.
If all else fails, the best thing to do is call a honda dealer, maybe they can help.
AC condensation (clear water) is draining inside
mcdevito75 here, Drain could be clogged or has flopped to the inside of your car, Locate the drain tube comming thru the Fire wall just opposite of the glove box and use a thin wire to clear it. You can get thin wire at a hardware store.
Need security code for radio
Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is
specific like anti theft code.
So you can get it by providing
your VIN# and registration details in authorised dealership.Nobody else
can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no
meaning of security for your car..
Transmission fluid change
Hi. This particular vehicle will hold approximately 3.4 Quarts of standard automatic transmission fluid. The filter must be changed, as well. If you are running the 4wd version of this vehicle, I would recommended the Lucas Semi-Synthetic Multi Vehicle ATF brand. For a 2wd unit, I would recommend the Castrol High Mileage ATF brand.
NOTE_ Most manufactures will require a special transmission oil fill tool. This is usually not available to the general public. In this case, you will need to refer to your dealer for proper procedure. Usually there will be a transmission dip stick visible under the hood area if your transmission oil can be changed with the more familiar procedures used throughout the years. Additionally, if this is a standared transmission. Any gear oil will do. Preferably differential gear oil(standard blend)
My Honda Element is making a growling sound when
Hi,
This is a transmission issue. I have replaced transmissions because of this problem.
What type of trans service was done. If it was a flush with some type of chemical, there may be a warranty. If only a drain and fill, possibly wrong fluid was used. Only genuine Honda transmission fluid is recommended.
Usually the trans will continue to do this for a long time without being totally undriveable.
Allowing the engine to warm up first will prolong the life of the trans as well.
On few Occasions, it could be Bearing Problem. But, Usually if that is a Bearing Problem, the noise increases with Speed. It would be a Costly Expensive even in case of Bearing. Would cost more than $500. Not for the Part but to get to it.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
