My mother has a 2006 LS 430 Lexus with only 5500
It sounds like the Alternator is bad or isn't charging teh battery completely. Or if this is the same station that has been selling her batteries they have a bad batch of weak batteries. Have the battery tested for dead cells. If there are none then put it on a charge and fully charge it and test the alternator. Auto zone can test both and will do so for free but you will have to remove the alternator for testing.
How do I reset and
normally disconnecting the battery for about ten minutes then reconnecting is enough to reset the computer and get the light to go out. although is there is a existing problem i will come back on after about 10 minutes of driving.

Sorry unable to do anything here as this vehicle has suffered what we know as brown out in the trade,once the voltage drops below a certain amount it damages the microprocessors in the ECU and the ones in the back of the speedo head plus others as this is a hybrid and on this part i know nothing as iam still waiting for my course on these vehcles which now looks as though its off as the person who was teaching us has been stopped by toyota in madrid so as not to give any secrets away possibly i think .Who knows but the best thing i can advise here is take the car to the agent who will have product knowledge of this vehicle .Yes i know you wanted some answers like kick it here and change that but without the correct software to be able to read the car then your batting your head against a brick wall as the car is obviously american market which has readable software for the emmisions test so you may read a code or two compared to the europeon version with encrypted software via internet but?? dealer only i do feel here and no doubt cheaper in the long run than playing around and burning something out.
