28000 on my car..needs a new clutch

Definitely not normal wear and tear if you have only done 28000. You need to be really assertive and argue your case. If they don't come good on the warranty make sure you get the old clutch parts back because they can tell an experienced mechanic a lot and once you have a diagnosis from someone independent you could try taking it up with consumer affairs. Assuming you are not driving with your foot resting on the clutch I cant see how it could simply wear out in such a short time.

CD player won't play or eject CDs

I hope you're in the 4 year 50,000 miles warranty.
the cd player will probably have to be changed. you can try pulling the fuse to the radio. maybe it will reset and work properly. the only downside is it may have a security code that needs to be input to work again. sometimes they write it on a card or in the owners manual.

good luck.

My car wouldn't start

Faulty starter solenoid.
Bad spot on starter motor winding.
Starter relay faulty.

Can be a few.
Just keep an eye on it.
Sometimes certain components will only show signs of failure during certain temperature ranges.

Keep track of if it happens only on a cold start, or when the engine is at operating temp... and if any lights come on the dash.

2006 LEXUS IS 250 OR 2003 LEXUS ES300

How does the ES 300 fit your driving style?
Conservative drivers your dream come true, Smooth, comfortable and quiet, easy to control and predictable. This car is the one to beat.

Sporty drivers Electronic throttle is very responsive, handles well for a car with such a cushy ride, Not as powerful as the other cars in this class.

Fast drivers Should opt for the Adaptive Variable Suspension. The firm setting provides this car with the character you are looking for as far as handling goes, but for all around performance, you may be happier with a Lexus IS300 or maybe an Acura TL Type S.

The answer to your question - the IS-250 is a luxury model, and the IS is sporty.

Both considered in the same CLASS of vehicle - near Luxury.

Who should buy this car? A person who is looking for a mid-sized sedan that is a cut above the average sedan in styling, comfort, luxury & performance.

How to remove a 06 Lexus is250 ECU and mainly the junction block mounted inside the case that sits above the ECU

  1. Locate the ECU: The ECU is typically mounted under the hood of the vehicle, near the firewall.
  2. Disconnect the battery: To avoid any electrical shock or damage, disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning the removal process.
  3. Remove the cover: There is likely a cover or panel that needs to be removed to access the ECU. This may be held in place with screws or clips.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connections: The ECU will have several electrical connections that need to be disconnected before it can be removed. These connections may include plugs, wiring harnesses, and other components.
  5. Remove the mounting screws: The ECU is usually mounted to the vehicle with screws. Remove these screws to release the ECU from the mounting bracket.
  6. Remove the ECU: Once the screws are removed, the ECU should come out relatively easily. It may need to be lifted out over the junction block or other components.
  7. Remove the junction block: The junction block is mounted above the ECU and may be held in place with screws or clips. Once the ECU has been removed, the junction block should be easy to access and remove.
Note: It's important to follow the steps carefully and to be cautious when removing electrical components from a vehicle. If you're not confident in your abilities, consider hiring a professional mechanic to remove the ECU and junction block for you.

Hi Guys, Any idea to change the language Japanese to English for Lexus IS 250

Frankly, I would check locally to see if there is a Japanese translator that would do this for you for a small nominal fee. You can check public libraries and courthouses for possible translators. Craigslist is also another good resource. Check local colleges for persons taking Japanese language!

Someone who can translate is willing to do this for a small ($20?) Fee. Good luck!
