open the trunk and peel back the carpet so you can see the back site pf the tail light. first remove the bulbs and place them somewhere they cant get broken. locate the screws or nuts that hold the tail light lens on to the car. using the proper size tool remove any hardware holding the lens on which stand out because they are usually the only ones you will see in this area behind the carpet(ya cant missem). once removed replace with new lens replace the hardware and dont forget the bulbs and also a function test to make sure they work correctly before you hit the road. have a second person use all functions like stop, turn, reverse ect...if all functions work like they should you are good to go.

Hi,, Yes all the problems are linked, They are all controlled by the same power supply, or the ACC (accessory) supply unit. This is just a fancy way of saying a fuse and a relay. Now there are 2 fuses , 1 in the kick panel under the dash by the drivers side, and the second is in the fuse box under the hood. the relay is in the fuse box under the hood. from what your describing, seems like of of them has run slack and shorting out.
- locate kickpanel
- remove cover , under the cover is a diagram showing the fuses, locate the acc fuse or accessory fuse.
- pull it, make sure its good, replace it.
- close ip panel and pop hood
- locate the fuse box
- locate the acc fuse or accessory fuse using the diagram on the cover
- pull it make sure its good replace it
- locate and pull the accessory relay
- pull it, and replace it.
thats it for now,, that should solve your problem however its not the only possible cause just simply the most likely, remember i aint on the spot so you are my eyes and ears, if this doesn't work respond and we'll try another approach.. which we'll call my second best guess.

Hi, the starter solenoid has packed up and you need to replace it. To find out where it is located, get someone to turn the key as if to start and you have the bonnet or hood lifted and you will hear the click coming from the solenoid.
The solenoid is essentially a switch that turns the starter on and off. When your car is just sitting off in the driveway, the solenoid is receiving a current from the battery, but it does not pass it on to the starter. When you flip the ignition, a small current signals the solenoid to let the current through to the starter. The starter then turns over. When you have a solenoid that is going bad, the switch can get tweaked and not let the current through correctly. Since the electrical current isn't enough to fire up the starter, the engine doesn't fire. In some cars, it just makes a clicking noise.

I have a 2004 LX430.
I suggest taking it apart while on the car, and find if the problem is the
motor that does the turning, is posible that not properly held down and can jump up
when under load.
Also, when you activated, the button to disable the folding mirrors is on the same panel as the
side mirror adjustments and parking sensor button. They're all located
to the left of the steering wheel. Have you tried making the side mirror adjustment after starting the car,
and then saving it to one of the memory settings?
Tell us any comment after this.
What causes the car computer
I had this issue once on a toyota. Minus the extra gadget, Toyota and Lexus cars are pretty much the same when it comes to how they are wired up since Toyota makes them. Check if the fuse blows up. This could be caused by a short. Inspect the wiring for exposed conductors or loose wires. The short may also occur between the fuse and the computer box where the fuse cannot protect it. Check also the rating of the fuse. It may be too high that it lets too much current in.

THere is no gas in the fuel rail at the time gas is running out. WHen you fill the tank, it needs to pump for a while so fuel can fill up the rail then the Fuel distributor so it can build up pressure for the injectors to work properly. It need to continue cranking at least 2 minutes. However you don't want to run out the battery, so can just turn on the key to hear the sound of the fuel pump stops, then turn key off turn key on again. Repeat this for 6 times then start the engine. The reason for it is that every time the key is on it turns on the fuel pump to prime the line then turns pump off after a specific time, then it turns on again only when key is at ignition position. By doing this you help to pump gas into the fuel rail instead of the starter continue cranking draining down battery fast. Cheers.
I need to change my rear dash brake light,do I
Push the brake light housing down and slide it towards the passenger side about 1/4" to
1/2" then lift up slowly and gently and pull towards you. It is clipped in and if you're too hard, the clips could break. Then the cover comes off along with the assembly and you just twist the old bulb out
2001 lexus ls430. Dead
Sounds as though when your battery died the engine imobiIiser locked down.
YOU MAY HAVE TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO A LEXUS DEALER AND HAVE THE MASTER KEY AND OTHERS REPROGRAMMED TO THE IGNITION...BUT
If you have your wallet key as well , try taking all to the airport. HOLD the card to the dash beside the ignition for at least 20 seconds, then try turning the key several times. I haven`t done an LS but the failsafe when a remote fails is to hold the key beside the ignition for at least 20 seconds ....
Also try the lock routine, but I think the issue is in dash..security needing to reboot to your key.
My understanding is that the lock routine re initialises the lock setstings when power is restored
Cannot adjust low and high beam headlights separatlyLexus LS 430
Shine your head lights on a wall either in your garage or outside wall and re-adjust your head light back to were you think you had them last. Use the high beam and the low beam settings and you will be able to beam the light were you think they should be. Common problem with most new vehicles now days, low beams don't seem to be bright enough.
