P0715 is a generic code for the input turbine speed sensor A. P0715 is detected when TCM or ECM does not receive the proper signal from the sensor. Take a look at any damage to the loom wiring, including connectors before replacing the sensor.

1-5-3-6-2-4 is the correct firing order for the 3.0l 6-inline 2JZ.

It's probably a problem with the shift lock system . This is a safety feature that won't allow you to shift from park into a gear unless your foot is pushing on the brake pedal . Brake switch sends a B+ voltage to a module (maybe) ,the module then energize's a locking solenoid ,to unlock the shifter . Google lexus shifter interlock .

If your engine is a 2jz-ge it does not have a camshaft sensor, it has a crankshaft sensor Located on the right side of the engine block

There is a large bolt in the center of the harmonic balancer which has to be removed. A impact wrench is the easiest way to remove it. After that Toyota sells a special tool that needs to be used to pull the balancer off the end of the crankshaft.

First charge the battery and try again.

It sounds as though the belt may be slipping or is not tight enough? If it's a toothed belt it won't slip - it may not be tensioned enough where it goes around the alternator pulley. They are adjustable. A smooth non-toothed belt can slip. Also, check the tightness of the battery leads where they connect to the battery and to the earth - on the bodywork/engine block

I just had the same thing happen! I went to Autozone and Gabriel helped me figure out it was the brake switch that was bad. $16.99 for the part and he loaned me the tools to easily replace it. Life saver! Thanks Gabriel!!

If the BCM doesn't see the door being opened, this stays on. It could be a bad door latch(in the door) or a bad dome switch( in the door jam). Both do the same thing. You'll have to see which one you have.

If it is the resistor pack, it's an easy fix, requiring few tools. Just be sure you remove the negative terminal from the battery before you do it to eliminate any possibility of causing more problems.

Remove from car, carefully scrape crud from inside of passages being careful not to damage valve seat, spray out with carb cleaner, allow to soak, repeat, then spray out with compressed air. Check all hoses and passages on engine too.

The reverse clutch is probably worn out. Transmission needs to be rebuilt.

You can talk to a transmission shop, but generally the problem is a weak pump or valve body. Once the fluid warms up the problem goes away.

try checking your fuses.
