Heater blows cold air
If the "Heater In Hose" gets hot, and the "Heater Out Hose" does not get hot, than either the Control Valve is sticking closed, or your heater core is plugged up with ****!
Have you used "Barrs Leak" or a simular product for a radiator leak? That will sometimes clog the heater core.
I have a 1993 Grand Cherokee, which "Normally" throws very hot air out of the heater, but lately sometimes it only throws warm air, till I make my first stop, than it gets hot.....all because the heat control valve is hanging up.
Low water in the radiator will also cause a heater to not work.....if the water level is too low to circulate to the heater.

I'm replacing my clutchfan on my 93sixcyl. Grand Cherokee is a aftermarket flex fsn going to be okay choice
It kind of depends on what kind of driving you're going to be using it for. Flex fans are on average a bit noisier and have a higher hp loss than a clutch. If you're using it in stop & go traffic, you'll have better cooling with the flex. It's really not a problem and more of a personal choice going with either if it's a commuter. If you're climbing rocks or off roading, I think I'd stick with the clutch. Something to think about, there's probably a reason why the manufacturers don't install flex fans oem off the line.
Now the **** 1993 jeep does not start even after
If the check engine light never comes on, on the dash, with the ignition turned on, then the jeep will not start. You should try hooking up a noid light to the fuel injector wires, to see if the ecu is pulsing the injector while cranking. If the ecu does not send a pulse then the crank sensor or the ecu itself is bad and needs repair.
My jeep cherokee just broke down for no reason
Two most common failures are crank position sensor and fuel pump however, without any details in you post, I could be way off...there are many items that can cause a no start. I suggest you get a chilton or haynes manual, a digital multi meter and do some testing. If you need additional help with what you find post back here. first thing you need to do is isolate the problem to either electrical or fuel, then work from there.
1993 jeep grand cherokee larado hose broke in
Check the ignition coil harness you may have a bad connection. When you turn the key on the relay ASD should click without the ASD relay operation expect no power to coil and even no fuel pump. Do this turn the key on and cycle the switch you should hear the fuel pump activate. If you dont check the fuse. For the coil to have no power you may have bad connection on the harness or connection.Go to the ignition coil on the B+ that is battery power apply battery power and see it it starts. If it doesnt you will need to inspect ignition control module
Transmission wont shift
check the kickdown/throttle valve cable. It may be bound up and stuck in the maximum position giving you extremely late shifts.
There ISN"T any modulators or vac lines on any Chrysler automatics
Need engine harness
for what there are harness sections all over the car.
surely not the whole car.!
but car-parts.com (wreckers net ., huge ) the dash matters.!!!
go there and see used harnesses.
unless $2000 new jeep harness are cheap to you.
What does it mean if the car runs good until it warms up then loses power
Fuel supply, or sensors providing information to the ECU. Take by your favorite auto parts shop, ask nicely to read your error codes. That will probably give you an idea. I found with my 20 yr old car that corrosion on sensor connections caused error codes so clean and scrape to bright metal. fixed the errors and the bad behaviors caused by them.
Do it yourself. How to change check engine bulb in 1997 jeep grand cherokee
Hi Dawn, I'm AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair in St Charles Mo
I look forward to helping you with your issue but first, if the light is on all the time that means you have a fault code in the system that needs to be repaired. If the Check Engine Light does not come on when you turn the key on then this could be the bulb or the circuit board inside the cluster. If this is the case and it is a bad bulb you'll need to remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle and take it apart and change the bulb by turning it counter-clock-wise to remove it. Go to my website and click on "Contact Us" and tell me which issue you are having so I can help you. Click here:
