instead it means that the exhaust is too rich or too lean

rarely, and I mean very rarely, like 1 in 100, will replacing an O2 sensor resolve an O2 code

seek an experienced driveability tech that understands the theory of O2 and fuel trims

most of the time the cause is an intake vacuum leak, leaking injector, or valve-train issues

i had the same problem on my 96 etc,there is a ground wire behind the drivers side kick panel that was broke ,i fixed it and have not had any more trouble.

Press the AC & HEATER BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME AND HOLD THOSE BUTTONS IN FOR TEN SECONDS. Let us see if the diagnostics display comes on and check for any codes. The codes will display until it quits. It may display codes for awile if you never had this car serviced for quite some time

that could be a dirty switch or stuck switch or the system is about to fail not that it has already

aamco go see the pros at amco they usualy give free estaments and are quite qualified to fix the trans if required and they know there ****

your AC controller/computer is bad i owned many caddys and some have up to 3 AC computers most have 2 the one that is the fan speed controller id shot!! and needs to be replaced

I would try a rag on the cap for more grip, or just use a pair of channel lock pliers. You will just have to give it a little more.

i take it it is factory alarm system.. is car not starting.. and do you have a black chip in the key.. 2 routes if this is the situation..first you can replace the key and lock tumbler assy.. average price is $350.00 dollars..you can try just reploacing the key with dealer item only. if this does not correct there is a technical way to jump out system... you will have to request this info at kbutlrtech at yah00.com

clamp at the bottom of the battery cage ,normally its a 13mm headed bolt with a flat piece of metal that holds the battery down.Make sure you refit this as well afterwards ,its a mechanical vehicle inspection failure .also not nice in an accident to have a battery more and short out on something catching the car alight

You will need to get the abs codes to diagnose what is causing the light to come on.Once the codes are obtained then weather it is a speed sensor or the wiring that is causing your problem.Post back with the codes and I can help you with the repair.Good luck.

struts bearings could be worn,does make a noise that comes from the front end when you hit a bump?

This may be the result of a faulty catalatic converter, get the exhaust checked out as My 97 caddy had simialr readings. Good luck

it will need it to be disconnected. have a shop or alarm shop disconnect it, wires may have to be spliced back together for everything to work properly, you cant just unplug it.
