There's air in the hydraulic system - bleed the brakelines to get rid of any air in the system. When braking air get compressed to a tiny pocket, when releasing it expansed and cause the brakes to still hang on to the disk for a while.

your charging system is working okay or you would have to have it jumped more than once a day.you have a bad battery that needs replacing as running it during the day the charging system keeps the battery charged up enough to work.you could have a drain on the battery from something in the car that is not shutting down that you will have to have checked out.or sitting over night the battery runs down to the point that it needs to be jumped started if its an old battery(over5-6years).

i dont have a whole lot of expierience with those. i do know that there is a security sensor in the key. when the key wears down it wont even crank. you have to get new ones from a dealer

Hello williamcole7: My name is Roger and I will help you. The code 888 is a test code. This tests the L e d's of the dash cluster. All segments must light so you can read all numbers. The 70 code means the system is ready and able to function. The ff code is a current BCM code and is happening at the moment. The f 40 code is a BCM history code and means it was a stored problem or something that has happened. The f 40 code is for a air mix door problem. THe BCM would set this if you had an A/C problem. The E 48 code deals with the EGR system fault. I would check for a vacuum leak at the EGR solenoid. The hose is prone to deterioration do to heat from the engine. Code E52 deal with loss of voltage. A dead battery or a disconnected battery cable will always set this code. None of these codes will keep the car from running.The repair schematics are to extensive to send in a reply. There is a twilight sentinel /daytime running lights module next to or part of the light switch it has a 12 wire flat connector. This has a parallel circuit with the light switch contacts. Pop the 2 brown wires in hole "h" out of the connector and tape them. This will by-pass the module and no parts are needed. "a" is light green and "m" is black if you cant read the letters. The schematic I have wont copy and paste so I just have to type half a manual.

you need to have the code pulled from the ecm as the light will come on if a problem has been detected by the ecm then you can start to diagnose from here in the area indicated by the code.

if the light is coming on then all that may be wrong is the linkage came off the throttle you can open the hood .you may need to remove the air cleaner to see the linkage to the cruise control diafram. or the throttle control unit.

You need to take a pry bar and pry up on the "y" looking piece with a stud on the end of it. Pry up on this piece to hook the strut back up the hub. You will need to do this to get it in line to beable to get it together. Please pry carefully.

pop- is a backfire/miss fire - try some fuel injector cleaner first- if no-go then a complete turn up - plugs,wires,air and fuel filter.

sounds like a bad ground, check the grounds at the fire wall and on the inside of the dash

Repalcing the starter

You mean sometimes it wont get out of its own way and other times runs like a bat out of hell from a stop ? Sounds alot like a bad Mass airflow meter or it isn't shifting down into first gear. Try manually selecting low gear when you start out and see what happens. Also low fuel pressure or very restricted fuel filter can do this too.

Hello: ONE OTHER THING YOU MIGHT DO IS GO TO A AUTO PARTS STORE AND PURCHASE A SNIFFER KIT TO CHECK YOUR COOLING SYSTEM FOR EXHAUST GASES WHEN THE ENGINE IS AT OPERATING TEMPERATURE. THE KIT COMES WITH INSTRUCTIONS. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BUY THE KIT MOST GARGES CAN PERFORM THE CHECK. A PRESSURE CHECK MAY NOT ALWAYS SHOW A LEAK OF A HEAD GASKET

Push it all the way down again and release. Should disengage.

are the teeth worn on the gear in the gearbox ,sounds like it to me ,pull them out and have a good look

I would check there might be a fuze for the automatic pop up antenna and mabe squirt some wd40 around the antenna hole it might be stuck

Feel the 2 tubes at the firewall for the heater core. If they are not getting hot, the heater core needs to be flushed out or replaced. I had this problem with a 1990 Cadilac Deville, it was just a plugged up heater core.

Remember to install sealant after flushing out the system to prevent leaks.

I'd check Rock Auto on the internet as far as getting the right part at a good price.

the trans clutch plates are worn so when cold it will move the car until the trans fluid is warn then it will slip out of gear
