as always for ever and ever , check the fuse for spark and EFI.(pcm) NO start, so does it crank, Ill guess yes. No starts. does it have spark , on ALL CYLINDERS? if just one is bad, say that , if all cylinders fail, then its sensors. (using the DTC jumper wire to see flash codes answers this easy) 4.5L , 4.6 or 4.9L , ?????????????????????????????? "Just installed the pick-up coil" what coil , name it, or where is it. cranks sensor cam sensor ????? on new cars we connect any scan too and see which sensors failed. cranking from 5min, release key BAM the DTC code !!! on this old car ,its tad harder. we must insert the diagnostic jumper. and crank, then release the key, (not off) and see the codes. the bad news is there are EFI systems used. Bosch, Teves Mk II Teves Mk IV the bosch you jumper ground to pin H in the DLC i dont know how to TICKLE, Teves, google it, DTC codes 17,36,41,42, and 82 , are key, factors. for spark

on the throttle body. the gas pedal cable from inside the car leads under the hood on drivers side to the throttle body. throttle body is attached to the intake. *****you should not have to adjust your idle. itusually means that there is a bad sensor if your idle has changed suddenly,**** what exactly is the car doing? ex.fluctuating rpms?, low constant idle?, high idle?

ok if you can insert a key get a philips screw driver put it through the latch and turn the key while at the same time pull down on the screw driver and i should open then try closing it again

I assume you mean the air pump for the the rear air shocks. Somewhere in the airlines or fittings you'll find the leak. Just follow from end to end. If need be, fix up a spray bottle of dishwashing liquid & water. Spray the air hose & fittings liberally, the detergent will produce bubbles at the problem area if you can't hear it leaking.

If you are talking about the vaccum on distributor it's about 45 degrees from your left of the engine. look at auto zone for correct placement

There are between 6 and 10 plugs. They are on the sides of the engine block, look under the exhaust manifolds. They are round plugs 1-1 1/2 " dia .. that are driven into the engine. Their purpose is to pop out in case the engine coolant freezes to keep the block from cracking.. They also allow the sand from sand casting to be removed from the engine block casting. during manufacture.. Replacing them can be easy if its one you can see and eaisly get at.. Can also be impossible without removing many parts and in some cases removing the engine from the car. Good luck. Go to an auto parts store (NAPA is a good one) And look at or purchase a plug so you know what you are looking for.

Even though this is an old post i feel it needs an answer since there is 225 followers wanting an answer. This situation sounds as if this vehicle is either suffering from the Throttle Position Sensor switch which has bad spots in it causing lack of voltage or the Fuel rail pressure regulator which can not keep the fuel pressure built up in the fuel rail making the auto veel like it is running out of fuel.And the transmission speed densor which also controls fuel. The situations for each device has a test that can be done to determine which one it is. And last but not least lets never forget our fuel filter this can cause the exact same problem. I am eliminating the cam sensor because it stabilizes at idle. Eliminating the crank sensor because it too at idle also stabilizes and returns a smooth idle. Could be several things Check tires for air pressure and wearing on the sides Alinement could be off. Tie rods and ball joints could be worn. Wheel bearings could be shot.

Not in less than 25 words, but for your reading pleasure - here you go...There is no "idle screw" on your model mercedes. It is a fuel injected (in other words, not an older normal aspirator type carbuertor), computer controlled idle/air mixture. There is an idle/air speed control valve part (see picture ) that connects to the idle/air control unit (another programmable computer - one of about 20 in this model) that determines idle speed and air/fuel mixture. Mercedes is top of the line, but really too complicated for the average joe to work on. Best to pay the man and take to a mercedes specialist shop.
