this schematic shows the relay location , it is passenger side , have to remove the cover/door and the cover/door should have the different relay position on it , if the indicators are still operating turn them on and touch each relay and yiu will feel the flasher relay "clicking",hope this help

its probably your alternator i would start by testing that im pretty sure advanced can test it for you. also test your battery because when the alternator goes it will run off of your battery and drain it if that doesnt work out for you then your going to have to provide me with further symptoms

it would have been helpful if the cars vin number was written on a tag attatched to this replacement motor..then you would have a better chance of an id..most blocks have a flat space on the edge of where the head bolts on that has a number stamped into it.. thats the block number you are looking for..

The security, antitheft, or passlock light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

Please don't even think about trying to disarm your anti-theft system because there is an easier solution. I'm assuming that you don't have the full Shop Service Manual. If you do, then you know that a shop manual costs at least $100.

So why did I say: Don't even think about it? Your anti-theft device is capable of causing problems that you don't want to deal with. If you have the dealer do the job, the cost can be prohibitive. The anti-theft device tells the on-board computer to shut off the fuel flow and to disengage the starter circuitry.

SOLUTION: Go on eBay and buy an anti-theft bypass module for $10-$20 depending on the year and make of your vehicle. It'll take you thirty minutes to install the device.
