the most sensible way is to spend 20 bucks and get a repair manual on a CD over on ebay. that will have all the steps and pictures to show you the way. and you can do a search on youtube, there are most likely a few videos of folks doing this. Do not be surprised to find that it is in the gas tank which must be dropped out of the car.

sounds like your going to have to replace the ignition tumbler,that is if your key has the small chip in it mounted in rubber,if you would like to disable it for good you can just buy another cylinder with key and plug it into the harness under the dash that runns up to your current tumbler and just put the key in the on position in the new tumbler and just tuck the whole thing up under your dash and the car will think the key is in the ignition and disable the alarm and your normal key will just start the car as normal,hope this helps

Actually that's not that high. If you were above that or it was fluctuating you got a problem like an IAC sensor. You might have a filthy TPS. Clean the throttle bottle wouldn't hurt and why you might be getting different idle RPM's.

You may have a failed ignition lock cylinder The wires that are attached to the lock cylinder are probably broke therefore the resistor value of the key pelet is not getting to the theft system module there fore without tha signal the car will not start. to repair the car will need a new lock cylinder and at least one new key

filter is under car on the driver side where the floor pan slopes up to the lower part of the passenger/engine bulkhead
Trouble starting
I would check the connections to the battery, then take it to an auto parts store or auto service center to test the condition of the battery and to test the starter. If the battery is good then the starter could be going bad if the starter takes too much amperage when cranking the engine and doesn't turn at a normal rate of speed.
