1996 audi a4 transmission hard shifting
Get the transmission scanned at the dealership. If it has incorrect gear ratio code stored, it needs a transmission. Only the torque convertor or valve body can be replaced for any repairs at the dealership, so it needs to be diagnosed correctly. Any authorized ZF transmission repair shop can also repair them, more than the Audi dealerships can, so thats another alternative.

Windows of an Audi A4 2002 model have freezed what is the problem.
All Windows or 1? If all check fuses. layout is in owners manual as well as locations. If one window either the window switch or window motor. If you a little mechanical you can change out switch. If not find a good mechanic with references on your car. Motor is more labor intensive. Hope just the switch. If it is the fuse and you replace it and it blows again, short in the wiring. Good luck

Audi A4 1.9 TDI 130BHP engine power loss when it's raining
This is the correct solution..........replace the solenoid valve N239 as the electrical connection is affected by dampness. What happens is that the EGR valve is jammed open by the solenoid and this allows oxygen starved air into the cylinders (exhaust gas) and combustion is poor.Quick fix is to disconnect the vac hose to the EGR actuator and block the end with a self tapping screw or pencil. This will work for sure....

Audi 2002 a4 v6 2.4l when the car first starts
It seems like you need to have your car's TCM scanned .The flashing lights always mean a TCM going bad.You can get a rebuilt one for around $300-$400 www.programainc.com/ in Boca Raton Fl.If you live in South Florida Call German Car Depot 954-921-1515 we can scan and install a new one if needed. You have two problems. The surging is from a dirty throttle body and /or air filter. The selector light could be from a bad selector switch or internal transmission problems. Have the car scanned for codes.

What kind of antifreeze can i use for2002 audi a4
ONLY what it says in your owners manual
Only mix with distilled water on ANY vehicle
Most likely you will have to go to a dealer for the
G12 type for audi or vw
If you used green on a 13 year old vehicle, you
will be doing lots of replacing of parts, in years to come
Learn the hard way, when all you need to do, is follow
the manufactures manuals, you get when your buy these
vehicles
The heat issues are NOT related to the coolant your using
Diagnose the problems-- as winter is coming soon

Hi need to change rear brake light on my 2002 audi a4
After removing screw, you need to prise unit off
Start from inside of unit untill it moves, then push to out side of car to release
The unit will be tight,as it probably has not been removed
The ideal tool to remove is a plastic trim removal tool
A screwdriver will do the job
Refitting, locate slots on out side of car,and push firmly in,replace screw

Cylinder no 2 misfires
If its a diesel, and stops after its warmed up, the glow plug might need replacing, which is often the cause of the engine feeling rough on starting, especialy when cold

Why *** i need to change cam belt and tensioner at rhe same time? is it a must
You buy a complete kit
That includes the water pump, timing belt, all
idler pulley's ,so you don't have to go back
there when the water pump fails
Just like you replace brake hardware, sometimes,
as it rusts, wears & heat cycles
You do your belt at 140,000 km (84,000 miles) about
every 7 years (12,000 per year)
