Audi A4 95 2.6 Abc engine
To be honest, I don't have any experience with the 2.6, but from the sounds of it, you have coolant flow through the upper hose (which would explain why it's hot) and none through the lower hose (which is why it's cold). One resource you could check is www.vagcat.com - sign up (free) for your car and drivetrain, and it should show you everything you need.

The leak seems to be coming from the shaft holding the pulley
Presuming you are talking about an oil leak from behind a pulley? All shafts as they exit the engine, have an oil seal fitted in the case and supply a tight seal to the shaft, if oil is leaking the seal is worn and needs replacing. depending on what the pulley is driving (cam belt), it could be a big job.

1997 audi a4 quattro power steering leak
Usually you can see if the pump is leaking. Most times it's a hose, or in your case, I'd look real close at the rack and pinion unit that's mounted in a hard to see spot under the car. It can be leaking into the rubber boots that are on both ends of the unit, then slowly leaking out while you are driving. I would bet this is the problem as the noise you are describing happens when the system has air in it, and as you work it back and forth, it purges the air.

My Audi A4 can not select gear
Manual or automatic? In either case, check the linkage- it sounds be broken, and the transmission fluid level. If you have a manual it could be your clutch. If automatic, then you could need a new transmission.

Flashing oil light audi a4 1997 on the dashboard
Your oil pressure is low. It could be your oil pump going bad or you could be just a bit low on oil. Be sure and top off the oil with a good synthetic oil, or, to be safe, get the oil changed (could also be sludge).

The first thing you should do is have the on board computer scanned with a VAG-COM and see what errors are being thrown. That will tell you where to start looking. Some auto parts stores (like Autozone) will scan for free, or you can buy a VAG-COM for a couple hundred dollars at ross-tech.com

Have a 99 Audi a6 2.8 hard start but when i get it
Could be fouled spark plugs, oil leaking into the cylinder head, a bad O2, or MAF sensor, leaking head gasket, amongst other things. Try to get the system scanned and see where the faults are. You need a VAG-COM to scan the computer, or take it to a repair shop and pay for a scan, or, take it to an auto parts store like autozone- they will do a scan for free sometimes. Give them a call first.

check to ensure that the fuse you are using is adequate for the current draw of the fuel pump. Place an ammeter in the power line to the fuel pump and read the amps drawn then rev it up and see if the current increases. Check the alternator for correct charge rate .
