One possible cause of vibrations in a car's wheel is an uneven tightening of the rotors. In that case, you should get yourself to a mechanic who knows how to tighten in a star pattern. This is an elementary concept that any mechanic worth his or her salt should know. Most will also have a torque stick to measure the tightness of the seal. Keep in mind that every car has its own standard torque specifications, which are generally printed on the rotor itself.
More often, a steering wheel that shakes when braking is caused by warped rotors, which your mechanic may be able to diagnose with a simple test -- that is, by spinning the rotors by hand to feel for imperfections. A rotor in good working order should move freely and make a complete revolution without any bumps or signs of resistance areas. If you or your mechanic does notice these issues, you've probably got yourself a rotor problem.
In all honesty either have a mechanic look at your brakes and possibly get your rotors and brake pads replaced.
Goodluck,

The first think you need to check is to see if the engine ground strap assembly is corroded, this can cause a electrical nightmare, as the lexus is greatly dependent upon the system for every function, DO NOT fool around with alternating components, you may cause a fire or other permenant damage. have the system scanned for a GF.

Gear shifting
yea in order to use that function, ur shifter has to be set to manual mode (M). the "m" is to the left to drive position. when u put the car in drive just shift the shifter over to the left once and you'll see it on the dash

Hello. The DPF is a Catalytic Converter for diesel engines. Traditional Catalytic Convertors are used in Gas Engines. The dealer gave you a "Dealer Specific" engine code. If you used a regular code reader you would see code P2002, which means. Error Code P2002 is defined as Diesel Particulate Filter Efficiency below Threshold Bank 1, which refers to an issue in the efficiency of the particulate filter in the exhaust, which is most likely caused by faulty filter or sensor, or exhaust leak.
The garage is trying to provide you with a quick estimate. The Dealer follows test procedures that Toyota makes available to their technicians. There is a lot going on here and there may be more to come. Depending on mileage, on-time maintenance, condition of fuel system (fuel pressure or injector failure) and engine (blow-by and compression). Your Particulate filter may be fine (electrical component failure), may have wore out or was plugged up due to an engine issue (Fuel injector/s or oil consumption). I hope this helps. Please write back if you have more questions.

If it's not heating up very quickly but it blows cold good the engine coolant theroatate may not be getting the engine up to temperture vary fast. A good therostate stays closed completely till the engine gets to operating temperture and then it opens just enough to keep it there. If it's open justy a little it'll take a long time to warm up and fuel milage will not be as good as it could be.
REPLACED NUMBER 4 COIL PACK
Check plugs, make sure that they are gaped correctly and not burnt. If problem still exists, check vacuum and also compression. Those are really the only things that would cause that cylinder to mis-fire. If everything checks out, then check the PCM. When you are checking compression make sure to do a leak down test, this will tell you if the valves are opening or closing or the piston rings are shot.
