lost engine power, or transmission slips???? which is it? the engine rpm tells you if the engine is weak or transmission slips. 2.0 liter , DOHC I4, J20 engine. which transmission, my guess A/T box. (sounds like?) sure.. test one 1: in drive. pointed in safe direction, say a field or ? 2: parked, hand brake and foot brake held hard and fast. 3: race engine to wide open throttle for 1 to 3 seconds. and lift right foot. after noting RPM. quckly. 4: rpm below 2200 rpm is a weak engine , if the engine spools wildly up to 3500 rpm or more, the transmission is bad. (slips) this is called the stall test. (in the FSM) 2,300 - 2,600 r/min. for H25/J20 engine stall test passes. so does the transmission reach 4th gear. 1,2,3,4? yes/ .no. yes, the its not the transmission. if engine power lacks in any gear, that is the engine. weak. this post is about the engine power, (my answer) will you change 100 more parts guessing? why do that?, any shop can diagnose it for a fraction of your guessing. if the trans dont slip

1. over heating? the engine?
2. never done a tuneup this decade?> really?
3. low fuel pressure?
4. low engine compression.?
5. Bad MAF sensors or just dirty?
6. check engine light on running?, why ignore that, scan it.
7. weak spark , see #2 and 6
8. leaking or clogged injectors. or stuck on, for 2 reasons.
9. Intake vacuum air leaks>?

both the engine and transmissions are complex as is the vast number of tests to do. based on previous tests and logic. do you want to test or gue$$?

Assuming the battery uses the pole type connection, can you move them forcibly, if so they need pinching up, and is it up to turning over a V6, Plus if car has a catalytic fitted, not a good idea to bump start, as it can ruin it.

Very possible it may be control module. If you have no engine codes, than you can rule out any sensors. Usually if anything electrical is going out, it will set off engine codes. Have you replaced the fuel pump relay? Checked all vaccum hoses, check compression for gasket leaks?

depends on engine that is there 1.6 and 2liter its near oil filter (2.5L v6) post engine size, and can post, graphic of all sensors of all suzuki engines.

any engine need three key things to run.#1 it has got to be getting spark to the plugs. #2 must get fuel.#3 the engine.has to have compression. these three things are a must. see if you habe them and get back with me.

in the USA, there are 3 ways on all cars.

1. press reset on the scan too.
2. pull battery neg lug, and lose the radio , and nav. codes,
3. pull the ecu memory fuse. (no engine stated, so can answer)

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.

   • Brake caliper and rotor
   • Locking hub or hub drive flange, if equipped,(it is)

   • Wheel bearing locknut (ring) and inner washer
   • Wheel hub and bearing assembly (slide hammer?)

   • Wheel bearing oil seal
   • Snapring
3. Press the wheel bearing and race out of the hub.

reverse is same but the lock ring must be setto 123-180PSI. stop tightening above 123 at first alignment hole in lock ring..

You need to fix the issue.

see if you can pull the timing belt cover over enough to see timing belt. then have someone crank engine and see if it is turning.

I would check wiring diagrams, to see what was in the circuit What ever you check, you have to know how to test parts You don't install parts & hope for the best I would guess there may be a failed resistor assy or pack or module, that is for the different speeds I fail to see how you can do anything, but go to a repair shop, if you don't have vehicle experience

You might have a fuel injector stuck open, check and see of one of your spark plugs are blacker or wetter than the others. If so, have that injector bench flowed at a service center that is capable of testing injectors.
