Engine is not getting fuel
Bad news is it could be your fuel pump has packed it in , and it is inside the fuel tank. Better news would be the fuel pump relay which is in a fuse/relay box in the engine compartment.
The car won't start, we had the starter replaced
You'll want to check fuel pump; its easy to do. Lay under right side of car right behind rear wheel and have someone turn key to on until lights on dash that light just before starting light you should hear pump run for a few seconds then shut off.IF not replace pump this is fairly easy lower tank unhook wires and hoses unscrew plastic ring and left pump out
Looking for coolant temperature sending
Good Evening, without knowing which engine you have I would tell you to look on the back of your engine (the end where the transmission bolts up to) and it should be right above the transmission. A general rule of thumb when in doubt look at your connector on the new sensor and you will see that shape plug in. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
I hear a high squeal when starting car
If the engine is in goodrunning condition, it could be debris in the pulley grooves, cracked and/or stretched drive belt or possibly a belt tensioner. Take some chassis lube and put a little bit on your finger tip and spread it on a small section of the rive belt grooves then start the car. If the noise goes away, it is probably coolant or moisture on the belt.
1998 Neon. Fuel pump problems...
Has the car been running one day and won't start the next and thats why you replaced those parts? This may be the distributor ignition modual later then when it is going out can act like its got demon in it. This modualator will shut power down to your fuel pump.
Now you can try something first though. Run a wire from a hot wire to the fuel pump and see if it will start and run while that wire is hooked up.
If it does then you can find a wire that only becomes hot when the key is turned on so the pump won't run all the time and only when the car is running. This is called gerry riggen in the service and not the proper way to do it. You may get an engine line on because of it too which will put the computer into trouble mode and cut your power down. But maybe not. Try it and see what takes place. If it still won't start then we need to look into testing the ignition modualator. Keep me informed and I will be glad to help you in the matter as well. Raz

No spark
Check the tdc reference sensor.
Loud popping noise when turning or hit bump/ pot hole
look at the rubber grommets and end rubber on the stabilizer bar .. also check the top of the strut tower (under hood). they sometimes rust out allowing some free motion and eventually complete failure .. look for even slight motion there when the car is rocked ..
