Rear end whinning at 72+ MPH
this noise is caused by defective/out of adjustment rear end ring and pinion gears, this may be due to pinion depth or backlash adjustment, but once the noise starts the only way to correct it is to replace the gear set, if the noise is only slight then it is a watse of money to repair it, the cost of a new gear set plus labor to install them is over $1000.000
I have an engine management light come on - tested
P0410 is the error code for Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction
The secondary air injection pump pumps air into the exhaust to help
heat the catalytic converter at cold start. This lowers the emissions
at an otherwise high emission time.
A malfunction means that computer has registered either a pump
failure (common on some models), fuse blown, or improper catalytic
converter function.
Check your fuses. Whether you find a bad fuse or not have the codes reset. Some auto Zones can read and reset the codes. If the error comes back you may want to consider having the exhaust system checked.Problems with the catalytic converter\converters can have a large impact on your MPG.
Hi i have just developed a rattle in the top end
70% of engine rattles in new cars are of because the engine has very minimum oil, you'll find if it has the correct amount of oil in it it will not rattle, cams dont tend to rattle, and newer cars dont use tappets now :) there hydraulic lifters.
if it does rattle, and its annoying you more than anything, and you just want to stop the rattle and not botherd about finding the actual problem them simply put thicker oil in.
but im sure you will find if it doesnt have enough oil in the car, and you fill it to maximum on the dip stick, it will stop the rattle.

Chrysler Crossfire key fob will not work
Don't forget to resynch the key with the ECU. Should be some info online on how to do it for your vehicle. Typically, you insert the key and then press the open doors button or hold both buttons down simultaneously.
