ENSURE IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP BEGINS TO FLASH AND AN ACOUSTIC SIGNAL IS EMITTED.SWITCH IGNITION OFF AND REMOVE KEY.WITHIN 50 SECONDS INSERT NEW KEY AND SWITCH IGNITION ON.WAIT APPROXIMATELY 10 SECONDS.ENSURE ACOUSTIC SIGNAL IS EMITTED AND IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP REMAINS ILLUMINATED FOR 3 SECONDS INDICATING PROGRAMMING COMPLETE. Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. The code, as you already know, is the #3 misfire. You may have an issue with the idle control sensor or map sensor. Did you change the wires also?

• Put the bumper face on first. I assume by "fender covers" you mean the covers in the wheel well? They go on last. You don't need to do it all as one piece. When you attach the face you will do most from behind the bumper from underneath the car anyways. If you are installing a bumper face and fenders themselves and the covers in the wheel well I would go bumper face then fenders then wheel well covers just to make it a tad easier.

No, you can gain accesss to these plug easily if you assemble the socket in the motor. ( ie. drop in the socket, add the extension, then snap on the ratchet) The removal of the tools is a bit tricky but it is possible. I generally use a pair of long needle nose pliers to pull out the socket.

try reset alarm and disarm it 2 reset it

a lot more confident it won't break etc

Have someone (shop or parts store) put a voltmeter on it and test your charging system. It sounds like your alternator is bad, it takes a minute or so for computer to acknowledge.

The light is on because the computer has detected a problem. Take it to Autozone and they will scan it for free and the will let you know what you need. It could be a big problem, so the faster you go, the better off you are. If you need anything, let me know. I am here to help.

Is it cranking?

Yes you can, remove the driver side wheel and in the front of the wheel well liner you will see a access cover, remove it and the battery is inside.

see all the pullies on which the belt runs are in line read the manual which type and size of belt is recomended for your car as there are 3 types of belts and many sizes a loose belt will alway squeak Throough some soap water on it this might help another thing confirm is it the Fan belt or the Airconditioner belt

Drive in to one of the bigger parts stores like Pep Boys, or Autozone, and they will scan for codes free of charge. Once you get code(s) that should point everyone in right direction of malfunctioning part(s). If not, get back to us with that code(s) and we will further assist you. Much quicker and cheaper and less guessing that way.

Could be a bad battery connection. Your fuel system may be going bad. Might have a faulty coolant temperature or intake air temp sensor. Could even be a MAP sensor. Is your check engine light on?

check the supply lines from the reservoir to the outlets. the line runs under the heat blanket attached to the bottom side of the hood. These lines get brittle with cold and age. Mine broke last winter. Less than $2 for splices at auto parts store and I was back in business. Have someone turn on the sprayer while you look under the hood. if spray is not working, fuses are good, it is probable the sprayer motor. Check the supply lines first.

The battery is accessible without removing the left front wheel and tire assembly..

1. Verify that the ignition switch and all accessories are OFF.
2. Turn the steering wheel to the full left position.
3. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.

WARNING: NEVER GET UNDER A LIFTED VEHICLE IF NOT SUPPORTED PROPERLY ON SAFETY STANDS.

1. Remove battery splash shield.
2. Disconnect the heater blanket cord, if equipped.

Battery Location

Try substatutting the ignition module with a known goog one.Also have the camshaft CIRCUIT checked at the camshsft sensor plug in, for propper voltage.The code P0340 indicates a circuit malfunction not a sensor malfunction. Good luck.
