Which service port do I use to add coolant to the

Hi,
The low pressure port for recharging is usually the one near the firewall. That line will also go to a cannister and then into the firewall to the evaporator core. The one by the radiator is usually the high pressure side. Your connector will only fit the low pressure (correct) port for filling, as the 2 ports are different sizes.

Check all your doors to see if they are shut all the way, and the rear hatch. It might not be closed all the way, and may need adjustment.

Broken hood release lever under

try to see if you can remove the grill, often times the grill is held in by screws accessed from the front of the car-if that does not work, you will probably have to get under the nose of the van and reach up to grasp the cable end (use vise grips) and pop the hood. Try the grill first though, use a flash light to carefully see if it can be done that way.

check the fuses for the ignition system if its good then you may have a problem with the computer controlling the ignition system.as i believe it control the power to the coil(?).if you feed battery voltage to the power side of the coil will it start.if so then you will have to trace the wire back to its source to find the problem(it may be feed from the ignition switch instead).you may have to go to a shop that has the test equipment to check out the computer system to find the problem.

My transmission dose not want to shift in high

This is a commin problem with these vans ,have had my van for 13 years and it has done that every time the temperature plunged it is not serious I was told those trannys have a fail safe system built in and if they get too cold ,they will refuse to go into gear until they warm up a little, and that has happened to me once when it went below 40celcius.

In foward gear positions, vehicle

Trans needs to be rebuilt....I would first try to change the fluid and filter, clean the pan and maybe a trans fluid additive that will help stop slippage....It is worth a try but the way you describe it you need to rebuild it....Has the fluid ever been changed ?Sometimes if you change the fluid that has never been changed it wont move at all...If it has over 150,000 miles or in some cases 100,000 miles.you might get by with just a valve body adjustment and fluid change..
The best thing to do is let a trans shop change the fluid ....this way they can adjust the valve body at the same time and save you money in the long run.But normally if all are gone except reverse it means that the trans seals are worn and possibly the gears are too far worn out.
The reason that reverse is the last thing to go is because it is a thicker bigger gear with fewer teeth because reverse isnt designed for speed..Hope this helps...............Metalpoet..................

Replaced timing belt engine will not start

check for spark at the sparkplugs, and listen to hear the fuel pump going when key is turned on. if no pump noise and no spark it can be the auto shutdown relay located on the drivers side fender behind battery. the auto shut down shuts off power to the ignition and fuel pump if the timing belt snaps. ,,,, if you have spark and fuel pump works then check firing order on plug wires , if they are in right place then check timing , if timing belt was replaced without lining up the timing marks it wont run

My van will only stay

This sounds like you have a bad throttle position sensor (TPS) when these sensors go out, the vehicle's computer never knows how much fuel to deliver to the engine. The part is inexpensive, and fairly easy to replace.

HI and welcome to FixYa!

The oil level may be on the minimum and in need of refilling. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you fill it up to the right level and then try to start the engine.
