95 Plymouth Voyager harsh vibration when accelerating

Hi RyanBefore you go for a steering rack replacement with that much play, go back to your CV joints check the shafts by turn each wheel on its own and watch closly the axles as they turn , Do they turn true or do they wobble you may have a seized CV joint find which one wobbles thats where your problem lies if they do wobble, they should not. If not go to ball joints, control arms may not be secured to chassie. Or Steering rack as you say half inch play sounds too much play something not right.Joe

If the cable is broken as I suspect you are implying then use a pair of vise grip pliers and pull on the inner core of the cable to release the hood by cutting cake the outer sheath.

Replace a/c clutch bearing on a 2005 civic

The bearing is usually part of the clutch. You would remove the nut from the end of the shaft and pull the clutch off.

1995 dodge voyager shimmy's between 35 and 50 MPH

A "shimmy" is usually more pronounced than a vibration. Have you rotated the tires to make sure its not a tire problem ?You could also have a drive axle problem.

The ac compresor wont come on and is in running condition

The most common cause of this is a low system charge of refrigerant due to a leak, have the system pressures checked to confirm this.

My plymouth 1995 would not start

I would suspect the battery would be the first place to look for a problem, have it tested and make sure the cables are clean and tight on the battery posts with no corrosion.

Transmission won't shift out of 1st gear

You will have to check the valve assembly- the part in your transmission that controls the gear shifting. In this model of transmission it's purely hydraulic so most likely one of the pressure release valves is stuck. This is an very complex job that must be done only by an experienced mechanic. So either locate a repair shop specialized in transmissions or replace the entire transmission with a good second-hand one.

1995 plymouth

There are some simple tools you can borrow from the major autoparts stores to find this leak. Although the leak can be someplace other than the Radiator, the device is a Radiator Pressure Tester. You simply use a slightly warmed engine and remove the Radiator cap. Then look at the pressure rating on the old cap. Use the tool and pump some pressure into the radiator, not to exceed the rating on the cap. If you have a leak at all on the outside of the engine, the pressure will force the water out of the leak and you can find and replace the bad part. If you use it this way, it is quite simple. But bad things can happen inside motors. Sometimes their gaskets leak inside the motor and the water may go through the cylinders or into the oil. You will see the loss of pressure on the tool but see no fluids on the ground.Often, the engine will run very rough when cold or may miss continuously from fouled sparkplugs. Do not worry about this worst case senario unless this is what your vehicle is doing. Contact us at Fixya for further advice once you discover your problems.
