If you are referring to the old inertia switch for fuel shut off during a crash, the manufacturers don't use these any longer. The airbag system is connected to the fuel pump relay through the ECM. When the airbags deploy, the fuel pump stops. This system involves using the standard fuel pump relay. When the relay or associated circuitry fails, the fuel pump wont come on.
