Take the braket out of the way or loosen and raise the engine to where there is room to remove and replace the pan

It is important to check teh oil. Low oil means low oil pressure and the car will not start. Try that good luck

you do not need to reprogram the ecu. has your mechanic checked for codes. has he checked the crank position sensor? and the cam position sensor?what the fuel pressur regulator.yiming belt and or the ignition coil

Does the engine crank, but not start or will it not crank? If not cranking, test battery, clean post and check wires for corrosion and good contact. Also check the ground wire between the engine block and the car body for good contact. If all good there, may be a problem in the ignition switch. If the engine cranks but will not start, check the pressure on the fuel rail. If good pressure, check the ignition module.

Clock Setting Procedure (digital clock page 242 of your owners manual) 1. Press and hold the time button until the hours blink. 2. Adjust the hours by turning the right side Tune/ Audio control. 3. After the hours are adjusted, press the right side Tune/Audio control to set the minutes. The minutes will begin to blink. 4. Adjust the minutes using the right side Tune/Audio control. 5. To exit, press any button/knob or wait 5 seconds. SETTING THE ANALOG CLOCK (page 238 of your owners manual) To set the analog clock at the top center of the instrument panel, press and hold the button until the setting is correct. The clock will adjust slowly at first and then quicker the longer the button is held.

Brake Switch Signal No. 1 Circuit Low

Trouble Code Conditions:Ignition is on. When PCM recognizes that brake switch is mechanically stuck in the low/on position, a DTC will set. Three global good trips are necessary to turn off MIL.

Possible Causes:

* Brake switch signal circuit is shorted to ground
* BS No. 2 signal open
* Brake switch is damaged or has failed
* PCM has failed

i would check the brake switch first located under dash and when brake is pushed it hits switch turn ignition on and test the wires if all hot then switch is bad, other wise there is a short or bad pcm and these are not easy fixes requires knowledge of car wiring and diagnostic tools/computer

The relay box is under the hood on the drivers side of the vehicle. Should be a schematic inside the cover relating to which relay is which

Testing the starter electrical circuits is how to find the problem . Viewing wiring diagrams to see what all is involved in the starting of your vehicle ? Most vehicles have a starter relay that is energized by the PCM/ECM - engine computer . B+ voltage comes from the ignition switch going through the starter relay control side to the PCM - which will ground that circuit turning on the relay sending B+ voltage to the S terminal on the starter solenoid . Do you know what a automotive relay is an how to test ? How to test for B+ voltage at the starter ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Click the search button then the third blue link , this is the starter electrical circuit . This diagram doesn't show the park neutral safety switch input to the PCM . Speaking of the park neutral switch , put transmission in neutral an see if it starts then , could be the switch is bad .

When you turn the key and it doesn't start, what happens? Do any of the dash warning lights come on? Does the engine turn over but not start? 1. If the dash lights DO come on every time, but the engine doesn't turn over every time, it's probably not a problem with the switch. Might be a bad starter relay. 2. If the dash lights DON'T come on every time, then it could be the switch (electrical contacts only working sometime). First, try spraying WD-40 or electrical contact cleaner into the lock area to see if that helps. If it doesn't, then you probably need a switch. Be sure to disconnect battery before replacing the switch and follow precautions against activating airbag accidentally.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak,check all vacuum hoses for leaks but if your car has a plastic intake it might be cracked or it might have a bad gasket on intake.but I need to know what the dealership said ,and have you had a tune up on it .

You shouldn't have any gas smells, maybe a little if the engine were cranking over without starting. But your car is not even cranking, right? Or will it crank and not start? In that case you might smell a little gas, so next step would be to check for spark. The leak on front passenger side: if that is where the front of the engine is, check carefully your water pump for leaking (then it is bad) and also check all hose connections there for leaks. Sudden no-start conditions are usually loss of either spark or gas to the cylinders. These are the first things to check when it won't start.
