Given a 99 sebring that has no keys & ignition was screwdrivered. Can I bypass having to use the keys?

It will not work on a Sebring. That "disrupter" is a hack for the General Motors Passkey system. Vehicles made by Chrysler have a completely different kind of system. I don't know of any hack that will work.

AC/Heating Control panel

The control panel is all electric resistance based. You have 2 option go to a salvage yard and try to get a working one or the dealership and get one. The panel must be replaced.

I have a 1999 chrysler

first of all, a 2.5 is a 4 cyl.. I noticed you stated it was a 6 cylinder, 6 cyl. are 3.0. it is important to know if it is a 4 or 6 cyl to correct this type of problem. this problem is either carburetor related or something the fuel line. try losening the gas cap and the drive to see if this corrects problem. could be vapor locked......mike

I have a 1999 Sebring 2.5L and started the process

I am not a car mechanic by career, but I have built high performance engines for racing. There should be no oil leak. If you get oil on to electrical wires this is bad, because the oil can soften and damage the insulation characteristics of electrical wire, other types of surfaces, and many types of hoses. Find and correct any oil leaks, replace the wires, and make sure all other wires and hoses are clean from any oil residue or drippings.

1999 Chrysler searing xli... I can not find cut switch no where.... Is there somewhere I can get a picture??? Please help me..... Thank u.....

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Cut-off switch for what? If your talking about the fuel pump, you don't have one. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Engine cranking, do you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse?

I Have 2 problems.1. The fuel gauge stays on full. 2.The seat belts won't function.

The fuel sending unit is either stuck or defective the only way to check this out is to drop fuel tank and remove sending unit. I have seen sending units go bad. You don't say what is wrong with seatbelts post in comments what is wrong with the belts

LX. how do I replace alternator?

Depending if its a 4 or 6. You access it through the passenger side wheel well. Take off the tire and remove enough of the splash deflectors as you need to get at it. Don't ruin the fasteners. Not my most fun repair. This is why alternator repair places will not bench test it for free anymore.

99 Sebring the code says that the third gear ratio is incorrect. Before it was the shift solenoid. Are there any silly problems that could cause this or am I going to have to rebuild the tranny?

I found that when work was done on my chrysler - I had to get Chrysler shop to relearn the tranny its settings. Something did not get set fully after new solenoid installed.

Ran out of gas wont crank now

You may have introduced air bubbles into your fuel lines. Try cranking while flooring the accelerator all the down. This will sometimes help move the air bubble through.

1999 chrysler seabring coupe has fire to the coil not the cap or roter 2.5 v6

Check the ECM and BCM. (Engine Control Module / Body Control Module.) Sounds like the Chrysler Anti Theft and BCM are not talking to the ECM reliably. Check connections and the wiring harness first to these components. If no change, try Dealer testing of both units. This could be expensive as only the dealer and a few module 'rebuilders' have computer codes and program to isolate the problem(s).

Have a 1999 chrysler seabring coup started fine yesterday morning drove kid to school came home put brakes on it started it pump the brakes few time put n reverse died wont start

HI,THAT IS A USUAL ISSUE RELATED TO THE ELECTROMAGNET WHICH IS ENGAGED ON "P or N" position.Charge your battery overnight, try your handbrakes,if they work fine, just leave the car in whenever you stop and put your handbrake on.This won discharge then the battery unless there is a unrelated electrical fault in the system.
