AC/Heating Control panel
The control panel is all electric resistance based. You have 2 option go to a salvage yard and try to get a working one or the dealership and get one. The panel must be replaced.

I have a 1999 chrysler
first of all, a 2.5 is a 4 cyl.. I noticed you stated it was a 6 cylinder, 6 cyl. are 3.0. it is important to know if it is a 4 or 6 cyl to correct this type of problem. this problem is either carburetor related or something the fuel line. try losening the gas cap and the drive to see if this corrects problem. could be vapor locked......mike

I am not a car mechanic by career, but I have built high performance engines for racing. There should be no oil leak. If you get oil on to electrical wires this is bad, because the oil can soften and damage the insulation characteristics of electrical wire, other types of surfaces, and many types of hoses. Find and correct any oil leaks, replace the wires, and make sure all other wires and hoses are clean from any oil residue or drippings.
LX. how do I replace alternator?
Depending if its a 4 or 6. You access it through the passenger side wheel well. Take off the tire and remove enough of the splash deflectors as you need to get at it. Don't ruin the fasteners. Not my most fun repair. This is why alternator repair places will not bench test it for free anymore.
Ran out of gas wont crank now
You may have introduced air bubbles into your fuel lines. Try cranking while flooring the accelerator all the down. This will sometimes help move the air bubble through.
1999 sebring truck wont open. Botton want ethier
Stick the key into the cylinder after putting some wd40 in it. Then tap the key forward with rubber mallet, like youre tapping it into the cylinder even more. It will turn and open the trunk after the 2nd or 3rd tap.
1999 chrysler seabring coupe has fire to the coil not the cap or roter 2.5 v6
Check the ECM and BCM. (Engine Control Module / Body Control Module.) Sounds like the Chrysler Anti Theft and BCM are not talking to the ECM reliably. Check connections and the wiring harness first to these components. If no change, try Dealer testing of both units. This could be expensive as only the dealer and a few module 'rebuilders' have computer codes and program to isolate the problem(s).
