Replace Hose. if clamps are old replace clamps. small cost for a damaged engine that will over heat when that hose breaks on the highway.

The brand and type are up to you , the parts guy will have a list for you to choose from ranging from cheap to expensive .

First thing is to have the computer scanned for trouble codes.My guess would be a torque converter or overdrive problem.

THE SQUEAL IS PROBABLY COMING FROM THE A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH IF IT IS NOT LOCKED IN WHEN THE A/C IS TURNED ON IT WILL RUB AND SQUEAL. I WOULD CHECK AND MAKE SURE YUR COOLING FANS ARE COMING ON WHEN THE CAR A/C IS TURNED ON ALSO BECAUSE THAT WILL CAUSE IT TO OVER HEAT.

under the left side of the engine, behind the alternator, bolted to the side of the engine block. just follow the lower radiator hose and it will lead you to it.

It really depends on where the work is being done because labor rates are different at each shop. I can tell you that in my labor guide it says it takes 2 hour to replace the starter so depending on the shop you take it to would/should be 2 hour in labor. The Concorde came with a 2.7 and a 3.2 liter engine but the labor time is the same. Now as far as the cost of the starter both engines have a list price of about $300.00 but if you were to purchase the part (if the shop lets you) it mast likely would be about half that cost for the parts. Hi Larry, The check engine light is reset by the use of a scan tool. If the light is on its showing a fault that needs rectification. Regards John
