While it's possible there are other problems the repair procedure would be to replace the blend door motor and while doing so confirm that the blend door moves freely without binding up.

1. Disconnect the Battery
2. Drain the fuel from the Tank
3. Raise the rear of the car and support with 2 jack stands
4. Remove the Tank
5. Remove the Old Pump
6. Install the New Pump
7. Reinstall the Tanks.

The fuel pump is in the gas tank. You shouldn't have to mess with the fuel pump if all you did was run out of fuel. Simply fill it and start it. Should take a few tries to get it going since the fuel has to travel to the engine, maybe two to three cranks. Put the gas pedal all the way down to the floor and try it, let go as soon as it starts.

WOW, that's a pretty big row to hoe... At this point it could be many things. You'll have to be more specific and utilize the codes the vehicle has to offer. Just turn the key to the ON position and shut it off. Then back to the ON position, and shut it off again. Then ON once more, and look at your trip meter on the dash. It should reveal the "MIL" codes you need to start diagnosing this poor thing.In the early days the MIL light woiuld flash, but we're now lucky enough to be able to read things like P01400 and such. get the codes and we can go from there! Don't forget to write back!!

did you check the ASD relay,located under the hood in the fuse and relay box. hope this can help.

Fuel line usually goes from the tank, along the frame rails on the drivers side to the engine.

Is the check engine light on, and did you check the trans speed sensor for damage ?
