1998 Chrysler Sebring front end squeak

It could be a powersteering leak. Sometimes there is a shaft seal under the steering column inside that needs to be greased because f squeaks. The brake problem is from warped rotors, most likely the front since you feel it in the steering wheel.

My car is making a loud noise when i start it and it gets louder when i accelerate. When i go to turn it shakes a little but i can barrly feel it. I checked all my oils and they are all good i evern w

Could be lots of things but it could be a bad motor mount. Have someone observe the engine when you first start the car and accelerate (with foot on brake and them off to the side) while in drive to see if motor is moving off of the motor mount causing unnecessary noises. Could also be a worn pulley or bad water pump. If this is happening at idle you can listen to try to determine where the noise is coming from.

We took the car to air care and it was rejected

"drive it around more" is the solution. This allows the ECU to "learn" and store the operating conditions for emissions. 100km/ 60 miles is usually enough.

1998 Chrysler Sebring 2.5 litre, oil light comes

Make sure oil level is correct. Also the dragging caliber is probably the problem.when you put the brakes on hard one of them is probably sticking now.

98 chrysler sebring sat w/out running for 4 years cranks but wont start any suggestions as to what is the problem or what to do to make it start

I would have probably given it a total tune-up, first, checked all the fluids. New antifreeze. Changed the oil and filter. Drained the gas tank, used fresh gas. Pulled the spark plugs and belt, put a drop or two of oil in each cylinder, then turned the crank by hand before trying the starter motor. Then, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?

Transmission when coming to a stop downshifts to 1st gear with a thud?

There was a popular repair done back then that provided smoother shifting and removed that sound it has like a toy winding up. It was a valve of some sort if I recall correctly. But there was no recall & it was only repaired if under warranty and a lot of complaining. I was able to improve my shifting noises substantially by having the trans fluid completely evacuated(not simply drained) refilled and adding Lucas transmission treatment. Hope this helps.

98 sebring 2.5l bogs down or loses power when accelerating. Timing shows to be on #5 at tdc. Any ideas?

FLAT SPOT? have the engine checked over, maybe get a compresssion tester and check cylinders are all good and have similar compression? Might be nothing serious but probably needs some thourough investigation as soon as possible.
