I have a 1997 Chrysler town and country with 182k miles, and paid $2700 for it. It has developed the following problem:
Sometimes when I try to start it the instrument panel does not light up,that is to say the gauges all read zero, accept the upper smaller warning light panel light up. The problem is this condition will not let me keep giving the engine gas to start it. It will stall out and not continue to run. Sometimes the instrument panel
goes out while i am driving but doesn' seem to effect the engine accept that I don't know what speed I am going. However if I tap on the plastic cover for the instrument cluster panel the gauges will sometimes come on and the engine will start okay. Whenever the engine is running it runs smooth however. I took it to a car repair shop and they would not work on it. Is it fixable, is it worth fixing, should I trade it in or sale it or just use it for as long as it will last without investing more money to repair it
go to a scrap yard try to find a second hand cluster they sell you that 75 to 100$ few screw to remove go easy its not to hard to change ive seen plemty of cluster go like that hope its a fixya for you and me thanks pierre

My van has been sitting for about a month with very little fuel in it and I added some gas to see if it would start. It won't and I'm wondering if its too late to add heet to thaw the fuel line but I'm leery because it might harm the fuel injectors at this late date.
its never to late to add heetand you definitley want to catch it before the fuel lines split, and adding some more gas will help too

both outlets are not working in the front and back. which fuse do i replace to fix it?
In the Fuse and Relay BOX Under hood Driver side. Take Lid off and Looking at it by way of Standing on side of Van. The Fuse you need to Replace is on TOP ROW (count from Front end of Van) Count to 7th FUSE and that is the one for BOTH Power Sockets 20 amp Fuse. There is a BLANK Fuse Spot in the ROW Dont Count it ONLY COUNT FUSES. Im Sure you will find this to be the Right Fuse, Otherwise Look at INSIDE of the BOZ LID For anything Further. Please RANK me If You FEEL I DESERVE IT
THANK YOU.

Hi, My check engine light of my 1999 Honda Odyssey came on recently. The error code read was p0420. Wondering whether this has to do with Catalytic Converter or the O2 Sensor? Thanks.
Cat efficentcy. replace the converter.

I have replace both radiator and radiator fans w/ shroud. Now the fan stopped working altogether. Purchased a radiator fan relay but cannot find its location. I have torn the entire drivers side engine apart removing both battery and its cradle and air filter and its cradle, and finally the PCM. NOTHING! About to lose my mind.
On Early Build Modles it is LOCATED , Driver side Front Radiator Down LowLike Below Headlight
On Later Build they are same Local just Up Higher
I Have Pictures if you like I Will Email them to you

When I unlock the car, the parking lights come on and won't turn off until the car is locked with the key fob. Any ideas? This is a recently new development. We have already accidently drained the battery once because of this.
juncro said: the switch is bad please replace same
What switch?
My 2006 Uplander would not shut off the parking lights. I came here for a solution. I saw the answer here, actually the question, and I used the key fob to lock the vehicle. The lights went off. That was a temporary solve. Now, is this a "glitch" or a "feature"?

engine fault code P1391
that is: Intermittent Loss of CMP or CKP which means intermittent loss of crank sensor or cam sensor signal
most likely something a dealer or tech needs to repair.
Hope that helps, if this was accurate please give a thumbs up so others know too

Concern:
Front blower does not work; no
power to it. Fuse is OK.
Tests/Procedures:
1. At the blower motor, there
is a Dark Blue wire. This wire should have battery voltage whenever the key is
in the "on" position. Power for the blower motor comes
from the blower
relay.
2. Access the front blower relay, it is located
on the driver's side under the dash, near the junction block. There will be four
wires going to it. The Dark Green wire should have battery voltage all the time.
The Dark Blue wire is going to the motor. The Black/Orange wire should have
battery voltage with the key in the "on" position. The Black wire should be
grounded at all times. On this circuit, the relay is energized whenever the key
is in the "on" position.
