The alternator on my girlfriends 91 Chrysler
There are 2 types of alternators for this vehicle .code 41 is a field circuit code for the alternator The SBEC controlls the charging rate of the alternator . It could be wiring connections or the SBEC ( computer) to be the problem .You may have to back probe some terminals to find the problem ,but first check all of the engine grounds including the negative battery cables. The fault code for the field circuit is most likely generated because of an open circuit . The SBEC (computer) supplies the ground to energize the field circuit ..
Hope this helps
1991 Chrysler LebarWhere is the fuse for the radiator cooling fan
That Fuse/relay is located on the driver side of the car under the hood in a black rectangular box. when you open it if you are facing the car from the front it is the relay that is all the way to the left above the two 20 amp fuses. just pull that out and checker or autozone should have a replacement part that is between 10 and 20 dollars i believe checker/schucks/Kragen has the part cheapest though. could be based on your area.

I have alternator charging battery problems.
hello there:
you're problem may be in the alternator or the battery to find out you will need a volt meter and have the vehicle running to test the alternator set you volt meter to dc voltage and touch the positive side with the red lead and the negative side with the black lead you should show 14 to 14.5 volts if not replace the alternator then with car off using the volt meter and test the battery the same way you should get 12 to 13 volts then wit the volt meter still hooked up to the battery with the help from someone try to start the car and see if the voltage drops below 10 volts if so the battery might be shot....hope this is helpful best regards D.Jones p.s please leave a review thanks
Low oil pressure
use a thicker oil. try 20w50 at your next oilchange, or try an additive for older engines to increase the viscosity

How do you replace the fuel pump in a 91 chrysler
This is if you have a carbuerator:
Identification of the mechanical fuel pump inlet and outlet tubes
-
Make sure the negative battery cable is disconnected. Have a metal cup handy to collect any fuel that may spill.
-
Place a drain pan under the oil filter, then remove the filter with a strap wrench or equivalent.
-
Disconnect the fuel and vapor lines, catching fuel that spills. Dispose of any spilled fuel safely.
-
Plug the fuel lines to prevent leaks.
-
Remove the attaching bolts and remove the fuel pump.
The fuel pump is NOT repairable. It must be replaced as a complete unit. Always use a new gasket when installing the pump and make certain that the gasket surfaces are clean.
To install:
-
Clean the fuel pump and engine block gasket surfaces of all old gasket material or dirt.
-
Position a new fuel pump gasket against the engine block, then situate the pump in position over the gasket with bolt holes lined up squarely. Install the retaining bolts and tighten them to 21 ft. lbs. (28 Nm).
-
Connect the fuel lines to the pump (always start fuel line connections by hand-before using a wrench to tighten) and tighten the fittings to 175 inch lbs. (20 Nm).
-
Clean the block surface, check the gasket, then install the oil filter, tightening it by hand only. If the gasket is damaged, replace the filter. Refer to Section 1 for the proper service procedures regarding oil filters.
-
Start the engine and check for leaks. Check the crankcase oil level and refill as necessary.
I have an antitheft device on this car and need to
most likely your issue is a bad crank sensor. You will need to diagnose it or check for codes before going any further.
Not knowing who you are we cannot tell you how to unhook a theft device.
Even if we did tell you it would take resisters and finding the correct wires and experimenting with the resisters.
And if the problem is not a security issue it will just be a waste of time.
