Many tire problems will not sow up on a wheel balancer. It is possible that there is an internal problem with the tire like a belt separation. The best way to determine this is to move the tires fron to rear one side at a time to see if the vibration moves to the front.

Vibrations can be caused by many other things as well, including bad/worn suspension bushings, defective shocks or struts, drive line parts worn or binding, or even a brake rotor that is damaged or is way out of balance.

Since you mentioned having taken it to the dealer, it raises this question:
Did you take it to them and ask them to DIAGNOSE the vibration? Or did you take it to them and tell them to check the wheel balance and alignment?

Many times, the vehicle owner takes the car into the shop and tells the mechanic what to test based on what the customer thinks is wrong with the car. The mechanic is the one who should be deciding what tests need to be performed, however, many time he does not know what problem the car owner is experiencing because the car owner prescribed the test, rather than describe the symptom.

I am not saying that this is true in your case, but it seems to me that the mechanic should have been checking other things if he had checked the wheel balance and alignment and the symptom still existed. You should not have gotten your car back without some explaination of what the cause of the problem is, unless the mechanic was only doing what you told him to do.

sounds like the throttle actuator is sticking a little. may want to try cleaning the throttle plate.

Jiffy Lube did this for me but after consulting their specs for the manufacturer they had to remove tire and wheel well to get at the bulb. They charge me extra for this.

Check for exhaust in the cooling system. What happens is head bolt mountings fail and under load compression gases escape into the cooling system, and push out the coolant. Extremely expensive to fix correctly.

The only solution, presuming this is your issue, is to send a bare block to a machine shop that can install TIME - CERTS, kind of like a heli coil. Requires temperature control to install.

You replaced the ignition switch, but also faulty ignition lock cylinder can cause this. There is an antitheft sensor in the key lock cylinder. If this sensor fails then this will happen. If the ignition switch fails and the computer does not see any movement in this sensor when the ignition switch cuts off then it will also think that the vehicle is being stolen.

----------- You got the ignition switch replaced, but also get the sensor checked in the key lock cylinder, try spraying wd-40 in the key lock cylinder and insert the key in the key lock and turn it on/off few times so the spray gets inside towards the sensor.--------- Then check.If its not helping then get the sensor removed out and checked.--------- Its not starting , the possibilities are weak battery, weak starter, faulty switch, this are most common possibilities, which you have already replaced.------------ But sometimes new brand parts comes out faulty, get the battery, starter and ignition switch tested by meter, get the battery load tested at local car garage.If the battery is fine, it will complete the load test, otherwise it will fail.If the battery fails, that means battery is new but still faulty.--------- Many a times removing /disconnecting negative terminal of battery for 15 minutes then reconnecting the terminal resets the inside system and everything starts working.This is reset procedure, also try this.---------- But if still you notice this same problem, and all this basic possibilities like, battery, starts ignition switch, ignition lock cylinder, wiring's etc etc checked out ok, then possibility is faulty ecm( ecm means cars computer).The ecm is sometimes not letting the engine to start.Its not detecting that key is inserted in the key lock.Its not passing the signal to battery or starter to let it start.--------- So ecm needs to be checked and replaced.--------This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

The 04 was pretty straight forward.

Change the oil and filter when the display tells you to. (Don't forget to reset Oil Life system!)
when the display tells you to change engine oil... Do the following as well:
~Lube Chassis Components
~Check Tires for Air and Damage
~Inspect Break System
~Check Engine Fluids and Washer System
~Check Power Steering System
~Check Wiper Blades
~Check Restraint System
~Lube Body Components (See manual)
~Replace Cabin Air Filter (Located in firewall on passenger side.)


Every 25K miles do the following:
~ Inspect Fuel System, Exhaust System, Accessory Drive Belts for damage or wear.
~ Replace Air Cleaner

Ever 50K Miles
~ If used for Towing - Replace Transfer Case Fluid :: If not change fluid ever 75Kk miles.

Every 100k Miles
~ Change Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter
~ Change Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter again at 150k if heavy service
~ Replace Spark Plugs

Every 150k miles
~ Change Engine Coolant (Or every 5 years which ever comes first!)
~ Replace Engine Accessory Drive Belt

optional y are supposed to change the transfer case fluid every 50k if towing

hi i have a 2004 cadillac cts that is stuck in park when the ing key is turned on the ing sencor 10 amp fuse is blown

It can be a bad temperature sensor somewhere or it may just require cleaning. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you have the evaporator cleaned for if it's full of dirt air will surely be warm.

It can be lacking freon too so have it checked and refilled.
