Marvin, 1st thing if able to do so, is check for good battery, it should be no lower then 12.2 volts to enable vehicle to start. A good charged battery would be 14.4 volts or higher. If you know battery is OK, I would say that your cars security system has been activated and you will have to follow instructions from your manual to reset security. check the coolant level at the top tank radiator cap check for an air lock in the cooling system run the fault codes to check for problem sensors have a compression test done to check head gasket and cracks

Push down and in on the lower cushion to unlock the seat from the floor. There are two locations you have to do this to. Both are on each side of the cushion about 8 to 10 inches in from the end of the cushion. Once out you'll see bolt locations on the back cushion. Remove those bolts and then lift up on the seat back to release it from the body.

Transmission mounts are worn out and most likely your motor mounts too. Pretty straight forward job to replace but sometimes the bolts holding the motor mounts will be stuck requiring an impact wrench. Problem is that there is no room to get the impact near these bolts making a lift necessary.

the stowaway third row seat on my 2006 Caddie SRX does not come down. when you press the switch it starts to move but then it goes half way and retracts back, as if something is catching.
