you did not say what car so I will give the obd-2 code reference It refers to cooling system performance===causes---radiator---coolant thermostat---engine coolant blower motor ( fan)ECT sensor.. If you have a heating problem then these causes will be close enough to give you some idea of where to look for the problem

are you meaning the water or the air. if water says 40c and ecu say 26c.( or without engine running.) the engine sensor needs changing. if out side temp is 10c and air sensor for intake is 26-96 then change it.

You need to get it onto a diagnostic machine and reset the value in the ecu. Normally a mass air flow meter will make the engine very unresponsive not give a missfire. I would suspect you have a problem with the ignition pack, HT leads or a pick up sensor. Could even be a fuel injector problem. My advice is to get the car hooked up on a VagCom system or a full diagnostic system and see what that tells you..

You need to change the outside air temperature sensor. A good diagnostic machine should be able to give the reading to make sure. The sensor is normally located in the drivers side door mirror or behind the front bumper.

Hi Chris
You have obviously had a diagnostics check done to know that the left bank is running lean,This could be an air leak,But most likely is one of your lambda sensors failing,This is fitted in the exhaust near the. manifold

its the sensor in the brake pedal, happens mostly at cold nights since cold weather loosens up the pedal it causes the pedal to go down by itself if like you were braking, I used to roll up the matt and put it underneath the pedal and that would put pressure upwards while i was researching on how to do it myself found out is complicated and decided to take it to the mechanic for a 200$ fix.

Do the power windows not work at all or only the auto up down feature? If it's just the latter, try holding the switch until the window goes all the way up- then release and hold up again immediately for 2 seconds, this resets operation.

If they don't work at all, check your fuse panel for any blown fuses.

If you are talking about front window screen wipers.
Than the problem is in motor that is broken and can't wipe your screen any more. You need to replace it. And you hear a water pump that's give water to screen.
But if it is back window wiper. Then the motor is dead too. Had the same problem. Trying to fix but no success.
Overall solution: replace the electric motor.

I would change the transmission fluid first, use a good synthetic fluid and see if the problem goes away.

That's probably caused by the key not being programmed properly for the car. If you just changed batteries, or the batteries are dead you need to reprogram the key for the car. Usually you do this to avoid getting in safe mode, but it may still work. Worth a try. Instructions:

Just close BOTH the front and back MANUALLY and make sure its in the locked position. (follow the owners manual on how to close it manually). The warning light will go off and the switch will become operational again.
Cheers!
