STEREO CODE IS NEEDED TO REBOOT THE STEREO SYSTEM

your best bet is that there maybe a 5 digit number in your glove compartment ..if there isn't there maybe a longer digit number in that case you need to call a dealership and ask them for a radio code and just follow what they tell you to do

Where is the volvo c70 crankshaft position sensor

Try the front of back of the crankshaft. I think they only put them on the front because of the transmisson. Then possibility of oil contamining it if its has a TC but if you have a timing belt try under that housing.

How to clean throttle body on volvo c70 2001

This is a simple job so don't get scared and you can do this yourseld with some cleaner a rag and a small brush, just remove everything around the throttle body and you can go to your local auto parts store and buy a cleaning kit for about $5. If the deposits are not too thick and have not cooked or burnt onto the plate or throttle body, you should not need to remove the whole throttle plate assembly. With the engine off, simply remove the air hose from the throttle body intake and carefully wipe away the deposits from the perimeter of the throttle body and the throttle disk. You can manually operate the throttle while you are doing this. This is a simple service that I've never seen mentioned in any owner's manual and I'm sure a great number of people pay for unneeded misdiagnosed repairs when all that is required is this simple cleaning. It does make a difference. You should do this at least once a year. The '99s and up have an electronic TB which as you've read are prone to failure. Cleaning is still recommended and sometimes necessary when idle becomes erratic or if you recently had a MAF or 02 sensor go on you and it might be gummed up. The volvo intake is "dirty" anyway so after a while it will always have to be cleaned. To properly clean the ETM on a 99+ turbo Volvo you need to remove the TB and clean it on a bench. Its tucked way under the intake manifold and its impossible to see what you're doing without removing it. Also replace the gasket.

Mechanic has told me that engine is not breathing

Make sure you use a Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner made by CRC.Do not use( GUMOUT CLEANERS) it not good on your rubber seals. Also wait until your fuel tank is low then add some fuel injector cleaner. You can do this yourself no problem. Also next time when you fuel up try useing high test fuel that will help clean you engine also. Hope this helps

Plugs are torque sensitive on many cars today and require 20 ft lbs when tightened maximum.
But, is there a check engine light on and was a code reader used to see if there are any DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes) stored in the vehicles computer that will indicate an engine management component failure or circuit failure?
