99 suzuki vitara v6 turns on all power but wont

the starter uses 10x more elect. power than the head lamps or 100x more than dash lamps. it means little. what matters most is jumper cable starts. does it crank with jumper cables to a running, donor car,(aaa jump) no bad starter no, bad starter key line( immobliizer or such) ask how to test. yes, cranks great, now. that means the battery was dead, i charge the battery and it now cranks, due to lights left on or charge system failure, if battery goes to 13.3 to 15v running good if on the charge system failed. (causing battery discharge) if after charging a battery it will not crank car, its a bad battery (jumps ok)

Why dont brake lights work?

Things to check:
  1. Brake light switch (most likely culprit);
  2. Blinker switch (the brake lights are wired through it);
  3. Ground wire connection at brake lights.

When i put my suzuki vitara in drive or park it slams.

the idle speed is too high , post idle speed, id bet it is..... fix that first all A./T do that ,it's an engine failure, not A/T is he CEL glowing runinng> , if yes, that means there are errors. DTC errors, scan it. keep in mind , im not driving, so if the U-joints are falling off car. then????? fixing cars is a hands on, thing. the mech, can feel what happens and RPM is #1 before i just shift. 800 HOT 1000 to 1500 cold (are you in the klondike?) no location on earth stated nor out door temperatures at start. your cars clutch has stall speed, do not shift car if rpm is above that. or it will be nasty, clutch, and car wants to fly, or leap.

Suzuki khyber brake problem

find a real brake man.! yours is not. hard cold fact. proof, is you are here, no web jocky can fix a car, not hands on.do you have ABS? that would be important.?a pro brake shop. in the USA< we have ASE rated shops!and they do perfect work here. no guessing and risking your life.there are 2 pedal conditions besides hard.1: spongy.2: or drops to floor as you hold the pedal.my guess, is spongy is the word.this is caused by air in the system.only why is the question and how to cure it.You never stated if there are fluid leaks , end to end.1: air can come from doing bad service.2: air can come form a bad MC (master cyclinder) replace it.to get the air out ,can be hard.all cars.I use vacuum method or pressure methodfollowed by 2 man way, (old school way for 100 years)the last way gets the remainder out, and tells you ITS OUT.by the lack of bubbles exiting the nipple.you have air in the system.where it come from an be easy to hard to find.but is limited to just the seals.if the clipers or slaves (rear) have bad seals they leak;if not then its the MC,the MC can suck air, and not leak.some missing the leaking MC by not looking under dash.behold, rear seal leaking and if they leak , they will suck airevery time you push the pedal.new MC time. is my call, no hands, on , means, I will wrongmost the time. fixing cars is all about the eyes, and hands.If you have ABS, my answer is only 1/2 right.

How do you change a water pump out of a Suzuki

If you have a 2.5 V-6, you need to pull off the front timing cover, to gain access to the waterpump. If you do the work, you need to move the intake manifold up, to move the valve covers up, so you don't tear the valve cover gaskets. It is a 8 hour job by yourself. There are shortcuts, but it is not easy. Don Suzuki man

When engine cold starts ok, but once hot and you switch off and try starting it again, it will not start, runs well and ticks over well

what engine?, they have options, there. cant fix unknown engines.... G16? J20, J25 engine? all are very diffr. motors. hot soak failure. probably not lost engine compression, HLA lifters. no gap so is lost spark you check for spark at all cylinders. if all are gone we scan the ECU. if spark is good then its flooding, spark tips on all cyl, soaking wet or just 1.???? all the above is $2 in special tools, just a fresh new spark plug found in tool box.. if spark is dead. we scan it. (all comments are for USA cars, never others) we conn. the OBD2 tool ($9) and scan it 1: key on, 2: crank for 5 seconds and see scan tool show RPM from 250 to 300rpm. good. CKP is working bit. 3: we then release key , not off yet 4: i look at live and pending DTC,s oops, P0340/355 or ? and you look up those DTCs and it says, bad CMP /CKP? BINGO. IF spark is good, then its just flooding if yes, then ask how to do fuel tests. fueling is last. all else must be right first. (fuel pressure, then injector balance tests) ask
