1998 Plymouth grand voyager ignition won't turn

I have had this happen on my 98 Voyager. Just have a new key cut. This new key will sometimes cure the problem. The older keys get worn out and won't unlock the ignition. Try this before a much more expensive and time consuming change of the ignition.

My starter works but when i turn the key it does not turn over. i replaced ignition switch and tumbler on steering wheel and still nothing

Did you check the starter motor relay ? Do you know what a relay is ? The starter relay is in the power distribution center , under hood fuse / relay box . Find the relay an pull it out of box. look on the bottom of the relay , you will see numbers . 85 an 86 this is the control side of the relay . B+ on 86 . 85 is from the engine computer , supply's a ground when the body control module sends a message on the CCD or PCI serial data communication network. Because when you turn that ignition key it is just an input to the BCM - body control module . Pin's 30 an 87 are on what is called the load side of the relay. If you take a piece of 10 gage wire an jump those to sockets the starter will crank . The first thing to do is to check for battery voltage at 30 an 86 sockets in the power distribution box. If you don't know about these thing's I suggest you take it to a ASE certified repair shop. All aboard Chrysler PCI Bus

What direction does the wiper motor turn?

The best way to time the wipers is to disconnect the linkage to the motor, with the key in the on position, turn the wipers on and then off. This should have the motor reset to the default end position. Once this has been done, reconnect the linkage to the wipers with the wipers in the proper "off" position.

How do you remove the rear drum brakes on a 98 Plymouth Voyager to replace the rear wheel bearing?

The drum slides off, unless it has built up a rust lip, then be careful prying. After that there are special spring tools you can grab at your local parts store to remove the springs a lot easier. Wear safety glasses as a flying spring can take an eye out. You can just use Needle Nose pliers and things like that, but will be fighting it all day long if you go that rout. Do one side at a time so you can look at the other side to see how it goes back together, and remember the longer brake shoe goes tward the back of the van. GOOD LUCK.
