Wow snow I haven't seen that since 1985 lol, I now live in Sunny West Palm Beach Florida, I would suggest changing out the thermostat, Usually when water pumps are bad you will here an obviouse noise coming from the pump or have signs of leaking. and also make sure you are getting good air flow from your fan that the fan clutch is working ok.

They are usually marked on the hub. Many times, if you just put it up against the flywheel and turn it, one side will turn freely and the other will have the springs hitting the flywheel bolts. If I remember correctly, another way is to put the longer side of the center hub towards the rear of the vehicle (If it is offset). If it had a sticker id on it and you lost it, go back to the parts house and compare it it to another one.

Try adjusting the tensioner pulley or changing it, it can become worn and cause slippage..

Go to your local parts store and look in one of the manuals for your make and model vehicle. Write the order on a piece of paper making sure to take notice of which end is the front of the motor. Or you can search for the firing order online for your make and model of car. Hope this helps.

usually the gauge area u would pop off the plastic molding with a driver-try to get a repair book or chilton online for details--dont do things too quick if they dont budge-certain vehicles need special tools and wrecking its not worth it

Does it run good? no missing?This is what i would check first: Pluged air filter, tire inflation, gas leak? try different gas also no safeway or am/pm. chevron or 76 have better quality gas that will give you cleaner burning fuel and better gas milage.

Either your pump is low capacity or the filter is partially plugged...Check fuel rail pressure and see if delivery is adequate. Does it start if you spray carb cleaner into the throttle body while it's not starting?
