If this is a diesel engine, I would suggest changing the glow plugs first

it is a sender unit not a sensor unit take the wire off it and see if the gauge falls to zero put the wire back on and if it goes to hot ,replace the sender unit the difference is that temp gauge sender units have 1 wire to it and work through the gauge to it then through a heat altered resistor in it to earth (ground) A temp sensor has more wires to it and works from the ecm it closes a circuit when the coolant reaches a preset temperature, sending a signal to the ECM which then closes a relay to make the fan/s run to cool the radiator

If the light is on, a code is stored. Get the code read. Then post it. Guessing which code is stored is a waste of time.

the 4cy. or the v6 (4,x,V)there are plugs, wrong plugs, orgaped wrong, and new plugs can be bad, I have a nice collection of new mutant spark plugs. on the wall.wires bad. whey you replace spark plugsthe wires break so put new NGK wire on it , mag wire are best.or you mixed the wire order.do not mix the HV wire( the large high voltage wire) that apples to both distriubors and the 4 cylinder 2.2L with 2 coil packsthe V6 has one coil packthe gap is .045 v6 and spark gap 2.2 is .040"

it could be a fuse but that fuse is usually your doom light to.the wire may have become loose,or the lighter itself is shot.

MT trans. got it. (said clutch let up.. is the clue) engine is running right? (sorry) and you shift to all gears, and car does not move, RIGHT? if the clutch slips and car will not move in ALL gears. the clutch is bad, or if a cable clutch, never setting free play on cable is the cause,... done 100s. or if hydraulic actuated clutch pedal (im too lazy to look) then if it fails the car can only moved if you start engine in gear. see? please post all steps. i get in car, i start engine in neutral. (did you) or start in gear with clutch to floor.? i then select all gears, and release clutch and car will not move. like that.... and win. (i can diagnose any clutch, ive wrecked many racing, so.... see all horrors) and fixed them by self. all. if you can only move car , starting engine in gear.? that is bad clutch cable or actuator (slave or master cylinder) is the clutch locked all times, or slips all the time. see? only that need be said. and 10 other symptoms. (chatters, noises, grabs, etc)

most likely a 3rd bolt that comes from the opposite direction and screws into the stater housing It may also even have a nut on it as well

It may be as simple as your knob on the switch being wore out and it not actually turning the switch .or the switch may be bad and will need replacing.

Check for a vacuum leak in your hoses it may be as simple as this or a fuel filter I say just change it to make u sleep better at night lol

sounds like your starter is stuck or sticking to your transmission not allowing you to get out of park,,this is what your problem is
