take the cover of the fuel pump relay use your finger to push the set of points inside relay together(momentarily) then starts the engine while holding points together does car sty running ? try switching the relay for another one no better try a wire to the pin that goes to the pump is there a fuse blown?

I take it you've done the usual, breakers yard, ebay, non genuine parts house? What's so bad with your tank that it can't be repaired? Try the isuzu owners clubs for help.

you can use some plastic pliers and pull one wire off the plug at a time and see if the rpm's change.

Check and replace fuel hose from the pump line to the manifold and ensure that it is tight . Check return line from the regulator is tight. Check that the injectors are all tight and the seals are not leaking.

Put a fuel pressure guage and see if fuel loss is before it dies.

Here are some steps that you need to do.

• Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
• Remove drive belt.
• Disconnect alternator electrical connector.
• Disconnect battery positive cable nut on alternator.
• Remove alternator
• Put the new alternator
• Connect the positive cable nut and electrical connector
• Connect the battery ground cable
• Start the car then check if its giving enough charge to your battery

check your battery grownd on eng block or positive on starter

Pickup a Chilton's manual at your car parts store. It will have the wiring diagram, and will come in handy later. Cheaper than a service call at a garage.

If everything is turning on, and there's power... check for 12V at the alternator. it may be out now.... or a connector came loose, or wire broke.

Check the relay beneath the steering column. Mine went out, too. Try to snag an OEM one, as third-party ones tend to flash too fast.

Did you change your air filter or clean your air filter? Maybe from there.

Could be a bad master window switch, you could go to a salvage yard and get one from there and see if it fixes the problem

all are near cam, so it can sense it.all are 2 or 3 wires, not counting shield wire cover. unless on pre DIS systems with distributor its in the old distributor base. no engine stated, just 4cyl.
