Where is the transmission dip
On 1996 and later models, the transmission uses an overfill screw instead od a dipstick. On the transmission pan there are 2 screws, one is the drain plag and sits lowest and to the rear, the overfill screw is to the rear on the passenger side, this is where you fill with fluid until it just starts to run out of the opening.
Why does it sound like coolant is getting flushed
If there are no leaks this is fine. The coolant contracts as it cools over night and this noise you hear is the system equalizing itself while coming under pressure from the forces of the water pump, radiator cap spring, thermostat spring and any other expansion - contraction issues involved in the cooling system components. Hope this helps ease your mind. Let me know. Thanks. PS be sure your system is filled with the proper type and ratio of coolant to water for you areas temperature ranch.
CAR RUNS FINE BUT WHEN
Don't drive faster than 70Mph! That is over 115 feet per second! Anyway, it's 4WD, correct? Check the fluids in the tranmission and transfer case. You transmission may need to be serviced. Limit your speed to 50-60 MPH and don't shift hard...with a lot of RPM's, when taking off and going through 1st 2nd and 3rd. Drive gently until you can have the transmission serviced.
What does winter power button
I believe the winter power button makes it so your truck starts in 2nd gear instead of 1st gear to reduce slipping and gain traction... It might do other things with 4 wheel drive. The whole point is to give you a better chance in the snow,
Truck won't start - even
Take one of the spark plugs out to check for spark. I like doing this in a dark garage. take the plug out and insert the plug wire back on. Have someone turn the engine over. You should see spark at the bottom of the plug where the electrode is. If you don't see spark? You need to check the cap and rotor. Or if you see that you have spark ? That's great disconnect the fuel line and turn the key on for a second did you see fuel? If not ? You have either a clogged fuel filter , a busted gas line, or a bad fuel pump. If you have both? Do a compression check on all the cylinders remember that anything over 15% difference between cylinders is bad. Means you have internal problems. Is there any back firing or pops heard while your trying to start it? If so you have a timing issue. Might be a bad timing chain or belt.
Please leave me a good feedback.
Where can i get a
You should be able to get one at any auto parts store, just tell them which side of the car because one is reverse threaded. hope this helps.
Transmission, not wanting to go in gear
After replacing a transmission on one Rodeo for that problem, I discovered there is a transmission control module located on top of the transmission on the driver's side. Two bolts disconnect it. Wipe off the old electric grease, and put on new electric grease. Reinstall the part. I have now driven 30,000 miles on this fix. Needless to say, I was very unhappy with AAMCO. If your rodeo starts having that problem, drive only in third gear until you can fix this part. Planetisuzoo is very detailed on this fix.
How do you change the spark plugs
If you have a "coil pack" on top of the plug, just take that off and then use a spark plug socket. If I remember right it takes a 10mm socket to take the screw off that holds the coil pack on.

Leaking oil from alternater
oil in alternator is their means of lubrication. the supply is from the engine. need to replace the hose. it cause big trouble if losses much oil.
Water pump and timing belt replacement
confirm you timing belt marking at the engine before you start the work. then dismantle all the belt one by one until you reach the timing cover. mark the timing mark again. then start dismantle the timing belt set. after all the belt are out, open the water pump and start to put back the new part by using reverse order from the opening list. make sure the timing marking are the same as you check at the first time. before you start the engine, make sure you turn the engine 2 or 3 round and make sure no part are hitting. good luck.
