2002 rodeo ...front indicator on passenger side

use a voltmeter. blinkers right, turn signals, turn signal indicators. just one of 4 that means the bulb is bad. or the wires to it are bad.] looking is only the 1st step use a voltmeter, it will not lie to you. use it. they cost $10-20 bucks at walfart. use that and see the 12vdc pulsing on the 2 pins. if not back up on the wires. and where it begins to have the 0v >>12v >>>0v pulse is the point of the break. easy huh? on many cheaper cars the ground to the lamp must be good. by cheap i mean they use the fender metal as ground. some have the lamp ground wire attached to the fender, so all that must be good. only a real FSM goes to that level of details shows the harness ground routing... but i ignore all that and let my meter prove the facts.

2002 Isuzu rodeo -tail/illumini lights keep

I would be first checking that the correct bulbs are fitted to the light sockets. If the socket has a single contact and a duel contact bulb has been fitted then the fuses will continually blow as there is a dead short across the contacts .; Check for cut /damaged wires at the light assemblies as if there has been no body damage or any add ons done that require screwing or drilling then the damage to the wiring will be remote. The rule is if single contact socket then single contact bulb and if duel contact socket then duel contact bulb.

(type analysis, me bad) ECU won't read ,but fues is good, (test fuse, never just look) What does wont read mean. by what tool by what actions, by you.? IF the ECU will not scan with a new scan too the fuses are blown. period! (or wrong scan tool;) this year is VPW OBD2. (ask) simple answer, alldata.com RTM. long answer. we cant answer on any car lacking engine size (type) and country. sorry. can't. and be RIGHT. in uSA its 3 engine this year. 2.2 L I4 3.2 L V6 3.5 L V6 each can be quite different, post engine. Generics. horn don't blow can be blown fuse. test them. the one marked HORN being first. can be bad horn relay or bad clockspring. or even a bad horn to test any horn, HOT wire it. to any 12vdc battery. ECU issues, gee, what country and engine and what are the Symptoms of your ECU. in details. running or not. hot or cold, driving or not.

2002 rodeo is my obd ground bad my ecu wont communicate and horn wont blow but fuse is good

great question, im ane ECU spirt. )EFI. what country, nobody ever says, that but gee, the OBD varies buy COUNTRY! Ill pretend USA. /Canada. In the USA the car has OBD2. and you need a scan tool that works on 2002 cars. what engine, some engines have different ECU. radical differ.. they had like 3 engines here, other countries 9. the scan tools connects to the 16pin, OBD2 connector at dash. i the car is Can-bus. it needs a can-bus tool, all new tools work on canbus but old ones never do. (i have them back to 1995 and know this) NON comms and tool is ok, not wrong tool . diagnosis.
  1. Pin 16 not at 12vdc, (blown fuse)
  2. ECU dead, 99% of time blown fuse to EFI. test the fuses to all EFI parts. alldata.com wiring shows that.
  3. bad wiring to the DCL connector (rare) or from there to ECU
  4. yes, some crappy tools have no ground on both pin 4 and 5, buy a tool that has 2 pins there. OR it will fail on some cars. seen many POS ELM327 tools that do this horror, get a tool called, INNOVA 3160 and stop guessing, this tool works on all cars.
  5. barrow, rent , or buy or ask any sharp mech top scan car , his tool works.
  6. Fuses that look ok can IN FACT be bad, we never assume they ar good we test them. using either method, OHMS or 12vdc on both sides, is better. see? only the voltage matters, all else punts.
  7. The 3.3l communicates on pin 1 and 2..
pin 2 is PCM/ECU. VPW signalling. and is not can-bus, yet. simular to this. http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/FO/fordguy4u/2013-03-02_224407_a1.jpg top right photos http://www.diagnostics4u.com/uploads/asset_image/2_4.jpg there you go, you tool must have VPW support on pin 2.

I have a 2002 isuzu rodeo that has no blower for the heat working in any settings. I already replaced the fan motor and am not sure if the resistor is bad. I need to know how to check the resistor and

I am assuming you checked the fuses for the ac /heater first as you mnever said anything about that.. the resistor block and switch removal can be printed out either by the parts store or dealer service..

Transmission

Hi there, firts you must locate yourself under the vehicle, after that, search for the transmission fluid pan, there you will see two plugs (screws). The one on the bottom its the drain plug, the other its the overfill screw. If you need more information, just send an e-mail ([email protected]) I had a complete repair manual.

Daughter says battery light is on; brake light on.

When the battery light comes on (When the car is running) it is usually the reverse polarity diode in the alternator. Usually you will have to have the alternator rebuilt, or replaced. As far as the brake light, check the fluid first. As brakes wear the caliper pistons move inward and the fluid is displaced. Overtime this leads to fluid getting lower and activating the brake light. Also check that the hand/emergency brake is not partially engaged. That will also activate the brake light.

How do i check and fill transmission fluid on a 2002 isuzu rodeo

I have just finished this task, based on not one, but many, "suggestions" via the internet. Reassuringly enough 95% are correct. Most important is the engine must be warm when attempting to complete this maintenance. If not you will more than likely anger your neighbors while spewing explicatives from underneath your Rodeo. Thank goodness I know my neighbors, they just laughed......

Brake and battery light on idle rmps jump

If the ABS brake light is on all the time, it could mean you simply forgot to release the parking (emergency) brake. The brake warning light remains on when the brake is set as a reminder. If the brake warning light remains on when the parking brake is released, then something is amiss.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Truck Adblue Remove Tool
