Please help!! My 1999 honda prelude is not running
Is it getting too much gas? check plugs sooty and black means too much fuel check light could be oxy sensor perhaps heater not working. This will cause fuel air mixture problems hope this helps mileage quite high but should be OK for Honda.

1992 honda prelude s (vti) why does the aircon
First possible solution: On many Hondas the AC button will only light when you slide the blower fan on. (The right slider knob on a 92 Prelude)
The second solution: When you notice your AC button NOT lighting, pay attention to see if your vent selector buttons actually switch your air direction from floor to face to defrost, etc. Also, take not to see if they fail to light also. If the other buttons don't light, you may have to pull out and disassemble your climate control cluster to actually "re-solder" the terminals on the GREEN PLUG receptacle back on to the circuit board. It's a difficult task to get out and in but if you're very careful, nothing gets broke. I have done this repair recently to a Prelude and it worked. There is not enough reinforcement on the board for this plug and it wiggles enough to cause a cold solder (broken connection).

1994 prelude h23 2.3 non vtec 5 spd at start up no
Try replacing Oxygen sensor (top of exhaust pipe just rear of engine; 22mm ring-spanner job after cutting wires); though normally comes up with Code 1 on the MIL, this is the right bunch of symptoms.

Threw a rod on my 1999 prelude
A thrown rod can do a lot of damage to an engine. It'll have to come out, torn down and assessed. May be better off with installing a new/rebuilt engine.
But with 60,000 miles maybe it's still under warranty -- I'd call a dealer to check on the warranty.

Honda 92 s 2.2L cuts out at 3000rpm
That is a good place to start. The fuel pump over could be getting weak on long drives. The Throttle body should be cleaned. The problem could be from a Sensor sticking when getting hot. Such as Mass Air Flow, Idle Air control, Oxygen Sensor, Camshaft position sensor, Crankshaft position sensor. ecu, ( Electronic Computer ). I would take to the local shop and have a Mechanic check it out.

1999 Prelude manual 5 speed
you must make arithmetical calculation.
how it was the exchange ratio of your gear with 39 tooth?
put in place of 39 45 and result new ratio in your gear, and see if there is benefit or damage to you r gear or engine or transsmision.

Prelude manual trans markings
U are right about the fact u got taken, it may be that the cross reference the seller used was incorrect, but in any event make him take it back and refund shipping as well or have him send the correct trans with a pre paid freight return label to ship th old one back. did u pay with paypal? if so file a dispute with them. I recently bought a set of wheels and tires, they where not as described, I filed a complaint with paypal and the seller bent over backwards to make it Right.

1999 honda Prelude
I think you should recheck the battery installation, if there is no fault then the remote is defective or the cars receiver that picks up the signal, it is more likely that that remote is the culprit.

Honda
this is an over-ride convenience feature...that allows you to place the transmission in neutral to roll the car when the engine is off...useful for short moves inside a garage...use the regular key or any key-shaped object....
rate me FIXYA!...thanks
