If you haven't got another key because you didn't replace key number 2 when you lost it, you need to take the car. If by any chance you lost the key in a snow bank, call out someone from the International group called 'The Ring Finders'. They are a group of metal detectorists that like helping people. Compression ok did you hear the fuel pump while cranking sparks ! key light on dash off

it does come out the bottom, remove the tire, and inner fender splash shield, and it will come out through there.

need a new sensor, part costs around 200.00 and three hundred for labour costs, they have to take the car apart for it. Would recommend going to dealership for this reason only..

make sure auto shutdown relay isnt burnt out..also have it checked for a bad crank/cam sensor

He has a duty of care to ensure car was running properly before giving it back to you. Sounds like your timing is ‘out’ ( wrongly set)
Due to incorrect fitting of timing belt.
Return the car ASAP. Do not continue to drive it.

If overheated on test drive it's a failed engine not an immobilizer issue. The mechanic screwed up and owes you a new engine because the coolant system not being properly bled or replacement engine (used?) Are to blame.

First check battery charge (and electrolyte level) is good and battery connections are clean and not loose. Check engine and frame ground connections not corroded/loose. Automatic or manual transmission?

You'll have to take the hub to the shop and have the bearing pressed out and the new one pressed in. Should run about $40 for the work, unless you have a 5,000lb. press at home. Be sure and take the flat cover and small bolts with you also.

It sounds like the module is in limp mode. The speed sensor is most likely the cause, but it can be some other things as well. A scan will give a code stating the problem area.

The speed sensors are on the side of the trasmission that faces the front of the vehicle. There are 2 of them, and they are the same sensor. One is an input speed sensor located closest to the engine, the other is the output speed sensor.

It sounds like you have no idea on how to test automotive electrical system's , just replace parts . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. There are no magical fixes , looking at wiring diagrams an testing electrical circuit's with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is the proper way to diagnose automotive electrical circuit's . Plus looking at the instrument cluster for warning light's , SECURITY system - anti-theft etc....Because these will keep the vehicle from starting . Hook up a professional type scanner to see if all the control modules on the vehicle will communicate with the tool . A shorted data bus wire , module etc... will also keep the vehicle from starting . Plus you don't discribe the problem correctly .Turning the key to start an nothing happening is a no-crank - no start condition , turning the key to start an the starter engages an spins the engine over - is a crank - no start .

If it won't shift out of first, that means it's in "limp in" mode. Get the trouble codes scanned to find out what's going on.

Well, you probably broke it. When you see the oil light on, it's trying to tell you something. Something like "get me checked out and repaired or you'll kill me". The lights are not for your entertainment, they're for your education.
