My Volvo S40 is not generating the heat

Check your fluid level, if that is good then check the control valve on the hose that goes back to the firewall to make sure that is working, if both of those are good you'll have to check the thermostat and water pump on the vehicle to make sure they are working properly.

My 2006 volvo s40 won't

I had the same problem when my battery went flat and tried to use jumper cables connected to another vehicles battery. I called Volvo and they said I need to disconnect the battery terminal to reset the computer. After re-conecting it the remote control worked again and I was able to jump start the car. Maybe your car's computer went into a similar state.

I have a 2006 volvo

Hi, I am a service advisor at a Volvo dealership. First thing to do is buy a cleaning disc kit, this will be a kit that comes with supplies and a disc that you will insert into the cd player. The purpose of this is to clean the disc reading lens inside of the player. I have seen disk unreadable many times. The cleaning kit I suggested is the only thing that can be attempted to fix your current cd player and the kits are inexpensive so you should try that. If that does not correct the issue then the internal fault in the player is too much to be fixed by simple cleaning. Unfortunately if that does not work the only other option is replacement of the factory player, there are no internal repairs that can be made to the Volvo players so you would have to order and have installed a new Volvo unit. If you have to replace the unit Volvo decks are expensive. You can go to a good stereo shop and have an aftermarket deck installed for a fraction of the price. If it comes down to replacing the player and you choose and aftermarket shop to install different deck, insist that they do not turn on the ignition to the car until all wires are connected. When players are being put in shops often turn the ignition on to test power supply as they work on the install. As strange as it may sound the computers that run your entertainment and information are connected to the same network as the airbag computer. If the ignition is turned on while parts of the radio are still unplugged the car will read an error on that network and you will end up with a SRS service urgent message on your dash, which only a dealership can clear out. This is all the information about the player systems. If cleaning does not work and you have to replace unit and choose to us aftermarket parts and shop just use what I've told you. If you end up with a SRS message afterwards it is the stereo shops fault and they should pay to have light reset. Hope this helps and good luck

The front end is very ******* bouncey roads

Most likely you are riding on just the springs and the struts are worn. A good way to tell is to look at the strut and see if it is leaking. Is it easy to push the car down while it is parked? I would get the struts replaced.

There are fuel lines leading from the back of the car, from the fuel tank, all the way to the front of the vehicle, leading up to the engine. Which one specifically are you looking for?

My 2006 s40 burns oil,

Is your oil clean,???? It may very well have good rings. Did the car ever "seriously" overheat, proir to this happening.??? If so, the valve seals, on some cars have boots, that look like umbrellas, that sit on the valve stem, between the valve stem & spring. A lot of foreign design engines, only use "o" rings. If the engine got hot enough, they can get brittle & break off. The oil that it is supposed to stop, runs down the valve, into the combustion chamber, & gets burned off. You will have a wet, blck reside inside the mouth of the exhaust pipe ir this is the problem. Then a valve job,or some GOOD nechanics, can add new seals, without removing the engine heads, the prefered, most inexpensive fix.
