Install a radiator
R&R? remove and return.?(drain coolant)remove all rad hoses.remove all bolts holding in rad.remove rad.reverse and refill with 50% AF.same steps as all cars 100 years.drain and replace, refill.
Leaking anti freeze
Might be a worn out hose running from the radiator to the motor, the radiator and/or blown headgasket
Water pump
Could be either. Try tightening the clamp on the hose. If still leaking, probably the pump. There is a hole on bottom of pump behind the pump pulley, called a "weep hole". If the pump's internal seal is bad, this hole will leak coolant. Can you get a piece of mirror situated right to view this area? Or if you see white stains on the pump behind the pulley, that could be coolant leak.
My 05 forenza will not start. I believe it's something with the fuel pump but not sure. I
24days later i saythe pump runs for 3seconds each keyon.that is normal.all that counts is full fuel pressure, if that is good, its not the pump and reg.find a mech that can diagnose EFI.its not hard, it done just like old carb cars.check compresion.check spark.then check fueling. if no injections , then work that angle. if too much injection, that is flooding, follow that path.no tech works this backwards or gets nowhere fast.
Check engine light
If the check engine light is on, better get the codes read.
This will narrow down the problem and help you identify the exact problem.
Inconsistant idle
bad idle can be caused by 100 things, but for sure the ECU has lost control, we check all other things first then work dead idle last.but the #1 cause of bad idle (you never said the low rpm hot?)but EGR stuck open. is #1other causes:1; needs a tune up bad.2: air fuel ratio bad, (bad fueling of any kind)3: ECU stuck in limphome mode, is CEL glowing running? if yes, then pull the codes, better is a full scan now.
Troubleshooting for stalling on 2005 Suzuki Forenza
vast checks. really!EGR stuck open?but can save the stall, with a fast right foot action, using the wrong cap with a non suz, missing vacuum breaker will stall the pump an then engine. stalls can be. 1: engine issues, (compression bad on one or more cyl.)2: bad spark3: bad fueling. in that order.if compression good and spark at all cylinders are good.the you check fueling.1: are spark plugs dry , white or black carbon, and/ or dripping in fuel? reading spark plugs works on all gas engine. 100 years span. to now.Google how to read spark plugs.this engine is EFI. and as such can do lots of things.leaking injectors. clogged , or dead.low fuel pressure.too high fuel pressures.at the least
Idle fluctuates when I stop at a stop sign or light
I had the same problem in my 2006 suzuki forenza, it ended up being that my valve cover gasket was leaking engline oil all over the place, into my spark plug reservoirs and everything. When my husband replaced the gasket and cleaned all of the oil that had leaked into my spark plugs and reservoirs the problem was solved, now it runs beautifully!! Good luck
