Radiator diagram rover 400

so do i , lets go outside and freeze...... location, location???? please ask a question. and if it's freezing there, do say so. as the proceedure would change , for that case. answer, use 50% premix. do not mix it in the Radiator. an 03 suzuki, rover 400, nice engine swap, if true the procedures will take a genius mechanic. first google and youtube your question, see what others do. then ask things that are unclear. also the procedure varies by engine options. and if its just a drain and fill or a full service. or (best way) drain, flush, fill, new thermostat (if smart) and refill and burp, and road tests. when you pull the bottom plug on RAD, this gets most of the coolant. not just the RAD. (fyi) on many engines there are block drains, but most shops solve that with the flush trick.

What should the percentage be on the TPS?

using a scan tool? depends on how the scan tool , interprets it my scan tool (fancy) has absolute angle and adjusted. Palmer software... best bang for buck. when you turn the key on, the ecu sees true zero, (mechnically) on newer cars the ECU learns this device. usually a voltage from,. 0.5 to 1v. on my 3 cars , i must calibrate it to 0.5v this the ECU uses as 0 deg. adjusted. or about 5% absolute but varies wildly from make and years. why are you worried,? if its linear from near min to max and don't glitch , its 100% GOOD> do you want me to look yours up. at alldata.com and see if it even is calibrated? see 7 to 50%here driving http://www.fixkick.com/ECU/palmer/96M-log2w.jpg the actual reading is not important unless, your car must be set to 0.5v like mine if not right , the idle controls are dead. on newer cars this is auto calibrated or fixed. the tps #1 purpose (if a small list ) is to enable enrich mode. when you move your foot fast the ECU drops closed loop and then goes rich, the faster the foot, the more reach,. it does not set air fuel ratio;s just cruising. The other main sensors do that. ill list the other TPS jobs i cut throttle TPS warns ecu of that, and cuts fuel. cranking wide open throttle cuts fuel , unflood mode WOT driving, go to enrich, WOT mode, about 12.5:1 AFR and drops closed loop, who time. Un like enrich mode. it also controls Dash pot effect and when EGR is active or not. but idle actual valve is no t import. be it 5 or 10% over 75% is WOT. the device is very crude if you read the spec. mines like 3000 to 5000 ohms. very very crude but very reliable.

My Suzuki areo fuel pump is not kicking in and

i see you are guessing?did you check all engine related fuses? that be first.with a $20 DMM volt meter , the guessing ends.the electrics form 2 paths, 1: power2: groundif either are bad, the pump fails. (suzuki love to do this)when you turn the key, the ECU/PCM , energizes the fuel pump relay, if you have no power to the relay the relay will be dead.the relay then passes pump power to the pump, on the pink wireon most suzuki's state side (no location stated)the pink wires goes hot (12v) for 3 seconds each key on.if not the relay is bad, or the power to it is bad or the ECU is bad.if you lose ground to the relay , the ecu or the pump. the pumpwill be dead. using a voltmeter allows you to find this simple failure.lets pretend the pink wire is hot.you key on, pink goes 12v , for 3seconds but the pump is silent.1: the pump has 2 wires , not 1.one or the other is open. 2: if you see 12v on the pumps ground wire for 3 seconds key on.that means the pump ground is dead open.the voltmeter will not lie to you , use it and find the problem easy.
