2006 subaru legacy lost throttle while driving, pulled over and shut it off but wouldn't pop to start, I let it sit for about an hour or so and started right up with normal gas pedal.

Sounds like you may have a dirty fuel filter. The symptoms you have described point towards the fuel filter being partially clogged. Install a new one, because they are not cleanable.

Loss of mpg on 2006 legacy Subaru

A dirty air filter will prevent adequate air from entering the engine thus reducing gas mileage. Worn spark plugs or a weak spark (defective spark coils) can do the same. A defective "upstream" oxygen sensor (in the exhasut system) can lower fuel mileage. It forces the engine computer to guess at combustion efficiency without feedback from the sensor. It will err on the "rich" side to save the engine, which means it wastes gas. A "check engine" light will be "on" if that is the problem. In winter, more alcohol is added to gasoline in cold climates to due to the lack of photosynthesis in the region (to make oxygen for us to breath.) Reduced fuel mileage results. Alcohol burns cleaner (and cooler) but it contains less energy (BTU) per gallon than "straight" gasoline. For example, E85 won't take you as far as a tank of regular gasoline. If your car is designed to use 87 octane fuel, there is no need to use higher octane fuel. Higher octane fuels are for "high performance" engines with increased compression ratios. High octane fuel burns "slower" in the cylinder (to help avoid "detonation") so that the engine can take advantage is its greater compression ratio and advanced igntion timing to make more power. If your Legacy has a turbo, it will likely require the use of premium gasoline to avoid "detonation" under boost. Otherwise, "cheap", 87 octane gas is fine.

New solenoid on 2006 legacy starter still spin

The bendex (starter gear) spring is bad or the shaft it rides on is very dirty. If you have the skill to tear down the starter then you can replace the bendex. If not, it's time for a new starter.

How to remove the front bumper"?"

There are some steps that help you to easily remove Front Bumper : 1. Open the hood of your car. 2 . Look under the edge of the front of the car at the end of the bumper. Pull the plastic shield down out of the way if it doesn't come off completely. Reach behind the bumper at each corner and you should find a bolt holding the corner of the bumper to the car. Remove these bolts. The bumper should come off. For more details, click here at https://www.drivenbystyle.com/body-kits-aerodynamics/front-bumpers

Hi i have a 2006 56 plate subary legacy saloon 3.0

Hi Lee,I'm not sure if the programming in that particular vehicle will disable traction control and/or cause the cruise control light to flash because of a faulty knock sensor. There is no way for a repair technician to know all the factors behind the software in your system. You MAY have separate problems with the cruise - then maybe not.The only thing I can tell you for sure is that Subaru knock sensors are prone to failure due to cracking. The outer shell gets cracks in it and then moisture gets in and corrodes the field windings inside the sensor shorting them out. (SEE PICTURE)"Reflashing" your computer or resetting the codes will not work if this is the case. You will have to replace the knock sensor FIRST, then reset the computer memory.10_23_2011_12_35_03_pm.jpg
