How do i replace the fog light on a 2005 subaru

Hi there! You have to remove the plastic under the car bumper and then slip your hand up there to remove the bulb. On some cars you can remove the 10mm blts that hold the assembly in from the front, then take the assembly out and access the bulb.

Locks on 2004 Legacy Outback

Not far fetched. The frequencies may bleed like a radio channel does when its not right on. Your two frequencies may be so close or one much stronger(other car) You should have it check before someone else notices it. Good luck

Subaru 2001 Legacy Outback Changer plug lead

Hello, I will share a little tech tip with you... These instructions tell you to disconnect the HVAC (Heating,Ventalation,Air Conditioning) cables, they are a pain. All I do is, when you get to the point where you WOULD disconnect them, just take out the screws on either side of the HVAC control head and just bend the brackets out enough to remove the stereo, and when your going back together with it, just put one of the screws in one of the holes for the HVAC control head and put the screw driver on the screw and push the bracket with the screw driver to line up the holes and screw it in. Do the same with the other side and it's good as new. You really don't have to bend them out hardly at all. I hope this info helps...
REMOVAL

  1. Remove front cover (A).

Different oil brand/blend/formula? Thats a good one. As long as the oil was 5W30 it's not causing your problem. I would find a independent service center that specializes in Subaru's.

Obd light on. speedo not working

There is a chance that the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) in the trans is bad. The ECM (computer) needs to know how fast the vehicle is moving, and what load it's under in order to adjust engine RPM and consequently emission controls, trans shift points, etc. Hope this helps.

My subaru forester cranks but cant start, the fuel tank is full and the check engine does not come on,what could be the problem?

Sounds like your in tank pump isn't working.....and you have no fuel pressure at the fuel rail on the engine. See if you can tell that it turns on when you turn the key on....I'm not familiar with Subarus so I don't know if you can hear them spin up or not......Most any shop can tell you if you have fuel pressure at the rail....the other way is to loosen the fuel line at the rail and turn the key to on ( not crank) and see if you have fuel leaking from the loosened connection.
