Please be more specific. I cannot tell what issues you are experiencing. Is the engine running rough? Misfiring, vibration, less performance than before? Is the Check Engine Light on?

Maybe the button on your remote has crud on it?? If it's a sealed remote, it in all likelyhood, needs replacement.

I do know that if you put the key in the ignition after you open the door and cycle the key from off to on 3 times fast within 5 seconds the alarm will disarm. Whether or not it is for good is unknown since you have to lock your doors again at some point. Your remote is discontinued by Subaru, but the the newer remote for the 2005 to 2007 models will work on your car, unless you already have one. I hope this info helps!

The air bag light comes on to alert you that there is a problem with the airbag system. The air bag module will need to be scanned for codes. When you "muscled it into neural" you broke the shifter. Most likely it will take a replacement shifter to repair.

I also had this problem on my forester, instead of pulling on the latch push it as far as it will easily go, then go inside lock and unlock you doors then it should open normaly by pulling the latch

You have to remove the transmission drain pan to get access to the solenoid you will see it as soon as you remove the filter screen

The first step is to verify that the lights have working bulbs and are getting 12v. Pull the light covers to access or undo the lamps, and check the bulbs. Measure the voltage on the supply wires. are you saying you cant put trans in nuetral as have drained battery and need to push car so you are able get it jump started get a battery and take to car and jump that way

it sounds as if your car is overheating. Alot of the newer cars after 2001 have a computer program built in that if you are over heating it will shut down a couple of cylinders by eliminating the spark or by regulating the fuel going in I had the same problem on a 3.4 litre Chevy engine and thats what it was doing basically when overheating or getting close to it since the engine would sustain alot of damage due to the engine being aluminum it protects it this way and still allows you to get off the road. your radiator needs to be replaced immediately do not wait until it completely blows off the you could be going for a water pump and thermostat.
