Disarm car alarm without remote merc
I do know that if you put the key in the ignition after you open the door and cycle the key from off to on 3 times fast within 5 seconds the alarm will disarm. Whether or not it is for good is unknown since you have to lock your doors again at some point. Your remote is discontinued by Subaru, but the the newer remote for the 2005 to 2007 models will work on your car, unless you already have one. I hope this info helps!
How to unlock the rear of a 2003 forester
I also had this problem on my forester, instead of pulling on the latch push it as far as it will easily go, then go inside lock and unlock you doors then it should open normaly by pulling the latch
How to troubleshoot your fog lights?
The first step is to verify that the lights have working bulbs and are getting 12v. Pull the light covers to access or undo the lamps, and check the bulbs. Measure the voltage on the supply wires. The lamps may (and often are) rusted and the bulbs are not grounding in the socket.
If there's no +12v, then look for a blown fuse.
Why has my 2003 Subaru Forester lost power when its hot?
it sounds as if your car is overheating. Alot of the newer cars after 2001 have a computer program built in that if you are over heating it will shut down a couple of cylinders by eliminating the spark or by regulating the fuel going in I had the same problem on a 3.4 litre Chevy engine and thats what it was doing basically when overheating or getting close to it since the engine would sustain alot of damage due to the engine being aluminum it protects it this way and still allows you to get off the road. your radiator needs to be replaced immediately do not wait until it completely blows off the you could be going for a water pump and thermostat.
Not too mouch power when acclerating
That would be a good place to start. Ther is 1 under the hood and one on the fuel pump in the tank. Do the 1 in the engine bay 1st as the 1 on the fuel pump doesnt normally give much trouble as its a screen not a filter. And located in the fuel tank
Center console
the trim surrounding the shift lever simply pops out. I would use a thin slot screw driver and carefully pop up the end near the handbrake first then go towards the dash
