Putting the old module in can help figure it out. However, most modules are fairly sturdy... It would take a good shock to the system to damage it. It is ideally best to disconnect the battery, but many times it's a safety procaution to avoid accidental engine start ups while working on the vehicle (especially with auto start remotes being accidentally pushed)

On the fuse box lid should be diagram of relay positions , The relay that's clicking ,what's it for ?

More the likely the electronic dash display has failed. Pull it out and have it repaired or replaced.

I looked at a couple of dozen radiators for sale and could find no drain plug on any of them. Be advised, some radiators have none. In that case, you have two choices, 1) look elsewhere for a drain with a really good light. or 2) remove the bottom radiator hose and drain it that way.
