How to step by step guide on replacing starter in 1993 ford jeep wrangler yj 4x4
well im not sure that the Ford part is.. but on your YJ its pretty simple, 1.disconnect the battery 2,disconnect the power leads to the cylanoid (its mounted to the top side of the started) 3.remove the starter mount bolts and slide the started our of the transmission Note: sometimes its necessary to remove the mount bolts and and remove the starter from the transmission in order to gain good access to the power wires. you can either have a partner hold the starter for you once its loose or use a bungee cord to tie it up while you disconnect it. 4. installation is reverse or removal Note: on re-manufactured starters it may be necessary to shim the starter. if after installation it grinds on the flywheel then you know it needs to be shimmed, most re-mans will come with a set of shims. hope this helps, and for the record most men who think they know alot about cars or talk like they do dont know jack diddly. i know a couple women who are fantastic mechanics.

93 jeep wrangler surpintine squeal
belt can be old and when itis getting older rubber mateiral used in belt hardens. when it hardens it slips especially whne air is cold and humid.replace it. (if it is an old piece, you will see vertical cracks on it but it can serve but if there are parallel cracks to belt sides it is bad)if belt is not old, you need to tighten screw next to power steering pump and pulley. when you find pump puley you will see the bolt used to tighten.

I get code 34 on jeep 1993 cherokee.what is to be
This code is related to your cruise control (if equiped) and the Vacuum solenoid or vent solenoid is experiencing low voltage and is most likely caused by a bad connection or bad solenoid. If your vehicle does not have cruise control, ignore this code.

I have a 1991 jeep
i had one do the same thing, the wire ends at the starter were frayed and the starter had a drag in it, put new ends on starter and replaced the solinod and it worked fine, there is also a fuse that will stop the ignition from working , worth a look to see if its loose or bad contact.

The speedometer on my wifes jeep stoped working
It can be ground wire connection problem.---------
try this.Unplug the battery negative terminal.remove the sensor out. Then spray wd-40 to the sensor connecting points on the transmission and spray wd-40 on the sensor itself. Then clean the sensor with a dry cloth. Then reconnect sensor to its proper location, connect the battery terminal and check.-----
but after doing this , still the speedometer not working, then problem is with speedometer circuit board. There is short on the speedo meter printed circuit board. The board can be repaired. There are many speedometer repair services online who deals with confirm speedo meter board.Buying new speedometer is costly issue. But getting the present speedo meter will be good option.---------
-------------
First disconnect and reconnect speedomter cables. The cables are located at the back of the speedometer board.First speedo has to be removed out from dash, then the cables at the back needs to be checked.Sometimes just any cables get loose at its back.So removing and reinserting the cables helps. But if that is not helping then get the speedo repaired for your jeep.Local auto parts store have good idea, for who is dealing in speedo meter board repairing.A junk yards also have working speedo with them for many models. That is also good option.--------Click this link directly for online speedometer repair center:--
http://www.instrumentclusters.com/ ---------
If there is no one near by to your place dealing with speedo meter repairing, then you can sed your speedo here to get replaced.------------------
This will help.thanks.Helpmech.
