How do you remove factory radio from 1993
What u need to do is unscrew all 6 screws from the dash ( 3 top and bottom) and carfully pul the radio out and make sure u get the right wiring harness u don't want to blow fuses or the dash

I suspect your Idle air control motor - typically mounted on the throttle body fuel injection models. This is not something you would typically have the right scanner to test, but your local shop should be able to test it quickly - meaning it is not an involved exam to see if it's bad. However, it IS an easy fix and if you have basic mechanical skills you should be able to change it yourself. You should be able to keep the engine running if you keep your foot on the gas lightly at all stops, but be careful not to push too hard on the gas - the engine is stronger than the brakes!! I would suggest having it towed to the shop unless your mechanic makes house calls!!
